Got some good Stank face goin' on there. She takes a somewhat lame genre and adds fire to it. I'm sure there are others taking it to another level but I haven't seen many of them that do it like she does. Maybe Andrew Huang.

It's amazing that she is able to apply fx to individual samples without using any of the q-link knobs or bringing up the fx rack/insert screen.

You literally might be my new favorite artist. I just got a Launchpad and somehow stumbled across your channel. I wish you had some tutorial videos, because I want to get on your level and be able to make the sounds I hear in my head.
It's not only about the sounds that are in your head mate, its about discovering the sounds that you are not hearing ;)
When you get decent at sound design you can kinda create stuff that you hear in your head but if youre just starting out I wouldnt worry about that. Just start jamming and see what you can come up with. You will be surprised how many cool thing you can create just messing around randomly.

How do you remember each preset? Does each color pertain to a sound group (pad, melody, drum, guitar ex, effect), and you experimentally/randomly press each within reason per group?

For us not musical wanna be's, it looks impossible and alien to see you play this machine. To know what button to push and to hit the right button for the sound... I cant even describe or explain my amazement. My impossible question is, can not instrument or musically trained person learn how to create beats and music on such devices? I have a musical ear, rhythm, but that's it. I can produce a "song" on Garage band, but is that really anything? Sure would love to talk face to face with a professional like you. Social media is really a hard place to communicate.
One can tell this girl is a keyboard player, watch her amazing left hand right hand coordination. simply because the pads are setup in a square config doesnt mean its any different than a traditional keyboard controller. As an old skool sequencing nerd from years ago, the technology has left my head spinning. And so has Neon Vines. She is a master of this technology. Hats Off, Bravo! Continue the good work. I just subscribed.
