Just under 10 minutes is the sweet spot where YT ranks you well with enough total time on video. But, it's not so long that people look at it and second guess the time commitment to watch a longer video.

I prefer this style of video: mostly vlogging with some cinematics thrown in here and there. The video length felt nice too but I like 10 minute long videos best. I do like your cinematic videos but the thing I like most is the story of the video so this was probably one of my favourite videos that you've done in a while.

7-9 minutes video works really well. It's cool to watch long videos but I feel like most people would zone out if it's too long. Short and packed with awesome content is the way to go! :D

I noticed when I create a vlog from 5-6mins, friends tend to tell me they are a bit too short. 7-9mins would be a better but I guess it really depends what you are producing and the story of each video being told.
TBH I think as long as you post something people would be happy :-P
