Beautiful place in a tremendous Capital City!. Enjoy the art, history, culture and gastronomy in Mexico City. The country has the largest number of world heritage sites in the Americas recognized by UNESCO. Great vid!
Thank you for the kind feedback, so happy you liked the video! We really enjoyed our time exploring the city, so much rich culture and history. I’m looking forward to visiting again someday!
@@gogotravelwithjosh Enjoy friend!. It may take you months or even years to fully understand and love Mexico City. Always something interesting and fascinating going on!.
Thank you, this was one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at both inside and out! Located in a beautiful city as well. I highly recommend spending a night if you ever get a chance.
Great video. Just would’ve liked you had gone over the price for your room and maybe other rooms- something like a price range. Other than that great video. Mexico City is an amazing place.
Thanks for your comment and the kind feedback! I agree the price is an important aspect, and I should have a section where I talk about it. I will plan to begin including that information in my videos. In the meantime, since I have so many videos already recorded, I will plan to add the pricing/ point redemption info to the video descriptions.
Very nice hotel for sure, but my go to hotel would be at the Gran Hotel in the Zoccalo with beautiful exterior and interior architecture and design as well as an amazing view of the city square.
Thanks! I just looked up the Gran hotel, it’s definitely a different style as it’s not as modern but more traditional and historic. Looks like a good option for those who prefer that style.
@@gogotravelwithjosh The Gran Hotel is where James Bond stayed during recorded shots of the iconic movie with the day of the dead parade back in 2015. I've stayed their twice. It's very vintage.
Anything you can share about the club lounge? the quality of the food/bev presentations? Visiting next month and want to make sure I know what to expect
I recommend just doing breakfast or dinner in main restaurant. Club lounge food here was very small and hardly any options when we went for evening food offering. Only plus to club lounge here is if you order a lot of drinks and service was good.
Very true, you can watch my video below showing about how many points per night this hotel requires: Quick Comparison: The Ritz Carlton Vs. The St. Regis Mexico City!! th-cam.com/video/-EZ6Eeda_wg/w-d-xo.html
It sure doesn’t! It also is an option to use Marriott Bonvoy points if you have enough to pay for the stay which is what I recommend. It’s also an option just to have breakfast at the hotel without spending the night. It will give you the same incredible views as the rooms without having to spend the night.
Very nice review and of course very nice hotel, i just booked. But you should try the Regent Phu Quoc (Vietnam). Best Hotel in the World for me right now.
Thank you so much, happy you enjoyed my review! I just looked up the Regent Phu Quoc and WOW!! Yes, that does look amazing 😍! I definitely approve and hope to go someday!
Actually, the cost is reasonable compared to US properties. I want to see Mexico City so this might be the best way to bribe my wife. You should visit the JW Marriott in Cancun as it is a great hotel.
Thanks for your comment! Yes, in comparison to Ritz Carlton’s in the US it is not that much different in price. If you make it over there enjoy every moment! It definitely is one of the best hotels in the world! Thanks, the JW Marriott Cancun is on my list. Will plan to stay there for a night before I visit the new St. Regis Kanai Resort opening this month! I will probably go in August.
Thank you for your comment. I’ve stayed at 9 different Ritz Carlton’s and in my opinion this was one of the best. What do you think the room is lacking in? I’m curious to hear your response. Could you also share some rooms you’ve stayed in that you’ve enjoyed more? Any other Ritz Carlton’s you’ve liked better? Coming from the US where there isn’t a single Ritz Carlton even at this level in any way (except the new Ritz Nomd to an extent) I found the rooms here very impressive from being brand new, clean, the nice blue tone color scheme/ decor, high quality of items, auto closing/opening curtains, smart control lighting, the combo of carpet and hard wood, plenty of seating areas and the extreme wow white marble bathrooms.

@@gogotravelwithjoshhello and thanks for sharing which room is the one you stayed at ? Do all rooms have the same bathroom view or is it an upgrade ?
Extremely beautifull

Prices range just like with airlines by day
It’s hard to quote on days price and run with it
Prices vary but are never below $700.
Thanks for the video, looks like an amazing hotel
Wow beautiful

Quiero vivir ahí 😍😺
That would be a dream 🤩

Will be checking in this Sunday!!! Can’t wait 😀
Enjoy! I’m so excited for you!!
I’ve stayed there a few times, the only drawback for me is that there is not a proper desk. The spa is the best in the city.
I dream of staying at a place like that but I’m poor as sht 😂
You can stay there, I stayed there with credit card points. I did not pay for it.

For $800 usd per night it really doesn’t disappoint!

How come everyone is wearing face masks
Not impressed. The view is amazing, but the room is not very impressive.

You are trippin. The room is friggin perfect! 😂
