I was a little surprised Glover Teixeira didn't make the list, but in checking his record it appears it took him just under 10 years and 19 fights to get in.
With him the story is a little different. He was suppose to fight in the ufc long before he actually did. He had signed a contract/ fight deal but ran into visa problems in Brazil. If I'm remembering correctly his contract was then canceled and he didn't "officially" sign again until after he fixed his legal problems in Brazil

I can't think of any one else that isn't a can that he beat....maybe that is his legacy. Just a can crusher when it comes to his MMA career

Alexei Oleynik just won a fight a couple of weeks ago on the regional Russian scene. The guy is still winning fights it’s insane. Not against a total bum either.
No way the UFC is going to only pay MVP 10k to show and 10k to win, he's defenitely on a higher contract considering he's already a decorated MMA fighter in Bellator and a world champ kickboxer. They'd have to be paying him at least 50k/50k, otherwise he'd have no real reason to leave Bellator for the UFC
