Really nice video, I like the Campaigns product, will be taking a look. Paul, I appreciate you doing these videos; you helped me on my CRM journey a bunch of years ago and you know your stuff!
Is there an option to automatically change the marketing status when leads come from sources like Facebook Leads or other form apps? Also, can Zapier change the marketing status for a contact?
I still need help can you help me my pipe drive gives me. an error sign ''This seems to be a public domain email address. Use your company email address instead''
It sounds like you're trying to use a generic email like @gmail.com. To use Campaigns you need to send your email from a domain that you own e.g. minorco.com
Hey Paul, thank you for the great tutorial. as I just started to using Pipedrive in my new company, I have a question regarding multilingual mailings. is there a possibility to send out one mailing and target it on base of the contacts language in which language they receive it? or to have a button to show the mailing either in English or in the other language in html mail version? thank you
Yes you could do that. But you'd need a custom field to denote the contact persons language. That way, you can then send different campaigns to different cohorts of contacts, filtering by the language field.
Hi Paul! Is it possible in Pipedrive to automate bcc? I am an intern in brokerage company which uses pipedrive for getting new deals. Here are my question: 1)I created the sum up of client data to send it like the inquiry for banks, we usually put their emails into bcc, but is it possible to automate banks’ email bcc choice? Thank you in advance!
I really Like your Tutorials, set up almost everything by myself with you :). But what I always See in your Videos, is that Like in Minute 6:30. That your summary section ist completely customized. I am Not alle to get rid of the expected close Date for example. How do I do this? Sorry for the off-topic
Thank you, glad I could help. At 6:30 I'm looking at a contact person (not a deal) which is why you're not seeing the expected close date. On deals, you can't remove the expected close date as this is a default/system field.
Hey Paul and once again great tutorial. I believe the most important functionality of the campaigns feature is the ability to see on the contact page the status of the campaign (open, clicked, etc) therefore the sales team can proceed with following up. My question however is if its better to set up a zap and every time a prospect opens/clicks a campaign send from other platform (currently we use Brevo), to create a note in pipedrive with the status (open, clicked, etc) rather than paying the extra amount for the campaign feature, just to have this functionality. Thank you once more mate and greetings from Greece.
Good question. I recommend campaigns if you need to send simple email newsletters and automation. The integration can be more hassle than it's worth to set up and you'd be paying for Zapier so the cost would likely be more (Campaigns is actually a lot cheaper than many other marketing tools)

Yes, depending on how you're integrating this. Yes if you're using Zapier, you can update the Marketing Status of a person.

If manually sending the email, no I'm afraid not.
If you automate the email to be sent, you could specify the Bcc field in the automation settings.
