Such an amazing woman. Down to earth inspite of her gigantic achievement, dignified, humourous and wise. But I think what I love most about the HP books is how inventive they are... not all book are inventive. She didn't only invent a plot which a lot of writers do (which is of course not an easy thing to do in itself), she actually invented the rules of the world she crafted. All these small shticks... the Pensieve, the Invisibility Cloak, Quidditch, the Map, the Mandrakes, the House-Elves, Hogwarts castle, the Floo Network, the Knight Bus, Parceltounge, the ghosts, the teachers, and many more things. I don't understand till this day how she thought of all of these wonderful things. All of that is fitted in a grand 7-part literary architecture. Wow...

I totally agree. Her worldbuilding ability really is phenomenal. I don't know how she managed to come up with all of the elements of the world, plus create likeable characters with well-thought out arcs, plus write a long series with a cohesive, interesting plot, but I'm glad she did

A lot of it is informed by mythology and medieval history of "philosophers", but that doesn't make it any less interesting.

You were one of the most important people in a few years of my life. Honestly, I do not separate form and content, that is, the work from the positions of its authors. Therefore, I got rid of the books I had authored. I hope other people do the same.

I have them all, and I cherish them- except for The Cursed Child. It was so bad It gave me stomachache.
I do like Rowling a lot too, even though I don't share her views on everything.
