To anyone wondering if NF asked Hopsin not to cuss this is the answer. The answer to that is no. NF didn’t ask Hopsin to not cuss. He said in his live video that he (Hopsin) didn’t want to ruin NF’s legacy by cussing on his song. So he wrote the rap with no cuss words and also thought that it was actually really good and even questioned if cussing was really necessary to create a good music.
I definitely feel like good rap song without cussing you want to cuss your gangster rap basically I got no problem either way cussing is part of English words now youreontime just in regular conversation went to the store fucking dude hold the door for me I'm like thank you sir

Personally I don’t cuss myself so I like to listen to music that doesn’t have it so I’m not tempted. Yet I’m open minded to some music that’s does cuss but am not a fan of a lot of it. But to each their own.

It didn't take Hopsin 30 days to thaw. He spit so much fire, that shit melted instantly.
Something that caught my attention is how Hopsin speak of hoping that the book of james will add his testament, referencing how the Book speaks on the power of the tongue and spoken words being declared, how we can bless and curse whether directly or indirectly.
The book also speaks about struggles and tribulation something that Hopsin seems to go through, James wrote the book to encourage christians to perservere as they were being pursued for their faith.
This implies that he hopes his story is told as a testament about pushing through no matter whats thrown at you, you make sure you complete the promise you tell yourself.. whether its success or survival.

He believes in God but he takes issue with the Bible because he believes it’s been tampered with so many times that it can’t truly explain what God thinks and feels. Least that’s the last I heard. Hopsin definitely does believe in God however, he’s just very frustrated and (no pun intended) lost.

This had some call backs to Paid My Dues, got me thinking about the end of the song where NF's writing LOST on a note. These are two of the most criticized artist out there, that are constantly treated as if they haven't paid their dues in the hip hop world. Another thing i'm not sure if its actually a thing but notice how when Hops verse came in NF stayed in the back and let Hop lead while it was his verse. Then we they were both singing they were back to walking side by side. Lastly I feel like they will find Tech in the field of buried burdens which will be the next track. This is absolutely perfect!
