Lucky Paper Star. Instructions to make a Paper Star. Origami Star tutorial.

- Here's how to make a lucky paper star, or origami lucky star. This is a longer version of my other paper star or lucky star video. In this one I've included more detail, speaking, and I show another way of puffing them out. So.. I think will help anyone who has been having a tough time with these. Let me know in the comments how you get on.
I would suggest making lots of these and be prepared for the first several not to work..they look easier to make than they are and so.. like lots of things in life, it takes practice.
You can either buy paper strips especially made for making lucky stars or you can cut your own from printer paper or any similar thickness paper you have. Try out different kinds of paper for different effects, and as I've said in the video, you may find one type of paper easier to fold with than another. Wrapping paper is good for these too and you can make stars to coordinate with your gifts - perhaps make a gift tag with them.

I remember having a jar of paper stars. They were very valuable to me for some reason, but when I lost them I forgot about them. I have just recently seen an idea of something similar to this that reminded me of the paper stars. I would like to recreate them!

I did it and still doing it to write questions that I should memorize. So that everyday, I kind of excited to open up what questions I might get and answer them.

Thanks so much! I’ve looked at other tutorials but they haven’t worked for me until I found this one! My mum has been a bit stressed out recently so I’m going to make loads of these and write positive messages in them to cheer her up and fill a jar with them :-) !

When I was in 12th grade, I fell in love with one of my bestfriends and decided to make him 1000 lucky stars, where every time I made one I always make a wish that we could be end up together as a couple
it's been almost 3 years and I still keep it in my room.

at first, my star didn't work out good because of the paper strip I cut out so I tried it a second time with a thin strip and it did turn out like a star :D I'm so happy right now, its a bit airy and not tight but as I keep on practicing, I will get better at this hopefully. thank you!

I made this bottle that says “happiness bottle” on it and wrote some nice things on strips of paper, made them into stars, and put them in the bottle that I will give to my mom for Mother’s Day!

Edit: I forgot to say that I have this gumball machine I got as a kid, and I want to make a few stars with nice words written in them. And put them in the machine, so when people feel like they need a pick me up, the can take one out of the gumball machine
