Well if you’re looking at the comments Starsky, thanks for the terrific job you do reporting on the war. I’m in Australia, and follow every day - this is the nightmare we feared during the Cold War, and that was the focus of a lot of preparedness the world seems to have forgotten. It IS a nightmare that affects Europe and the world beyond. The valiant Ukrainians have stepped up into the position of main antagonist that the US abandons at its peril. All Ukrainians are fighting for us who live beyond their borders. I for one am mindful of the horrors they endure and support my government in backing you. You will prevail! Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

I have a question for you. Have you tried offering food and a bed if they surrender in every language that might work. Suspend speakers down below a couple drones. Tell them to turn off their equipment leave their guns and follow the drones. Have them fly over the battle field all day long leading soldiers away. Even if they only manage to turn off a couple pieces of equipment it could help. If they see others leave more will follow. Good luck.

Why are there piles of Armor Vehicle obstructions lying not deployed in Kharkiv Oblast and Sumy Oblast?

Yeah, but US aid is similarly overpriced. The price we get told is the cost of a new, modern replacement for whatever it is that’s being sent to Ukraine. So Ukraine gets the expired weaponry, scheduled for destruction, but the world gets told about the cost of the shiny new stuff the US Military is buying for itself.
So that sort of balances out the russian corruption.
Both sides are using overpriced equipment. The difference is that the western stuff was built to a better standard and stored correctly, so still functions as intended, more often than not.
I’m worried about the Soviet standard shells the Czech initiative is sourcing. Those will be an eye opener for troops used to western equipment, however elderly it may be.
