Our tent review of the Quechua Fresh & Black 2 Seconds 3 XL Pop-Up tent.
As Heather says in the video, we love this pop-up tent. It is very quick to pitch and takes less than two minutes to fold down and pack away.
This is our second Quechua pop-up tent bought from Decathlon. The first one we also loved and we still have it stored in the garage in the event we need a back-up tent. However, the addition of the Fresh & Black feature makes this second tent a better choice for us.
We have used this Quechua pop-up tent in the Outer Hebrides and the South of France, in both wet and dry, and hot and cold weather conditions. All without any problems.
As you can see in the video, it was quite windy when we filmed, but take a look at the other two tents in the background which are being buffeted by the wind and, in comparison, the pop-up tent is rock solid. That being said, the tent is not designed for backpacking or extreme camping, but as a tent for camping use in the Spring, Summer, and Autumn in the UK and Western Europe, it is great.
There are only two of us and this is a 3 person tent. We enjoy plenty of room for both of us and our kit. We can fit our inflatable mattresses, clothes bags etc, and we don't feel cramped. The porch area stays dry and is great for your muddy or sandy footwear and wet gear.
The tent has two side windows, each with a zipped mosquito net. This keeps the insects out and the allows fresh air in.
