To be completely honest, I always overlooked Dior Homme. Was never interested in trying it until I went to Macy’s and thought “why not?” So I sprayed it once and oh man was I missing out. It’s such a great fragrance but now I’m debating whether this one or the Sport version. Both imo are amazing

This has grown on me. I thought it was boring when it was released, but now I think it's a very nice everyday scent. Dior should have called it something else, because people will always compare it to the original.

I like DH2020, this is similar to Terre D'hermes but richer in my opinion. The longevity on my skin is insane too, 8+ hours. It's indeed a compliment-getter because people around us don't care about names. Actually I considered buying Prada Luna Rossa Carbon, TDH or DH2020 but in the end I chose DH2020.
Carbon has also gotten me a lot of compliments, actually more than DH2020, it’s almost like Sauvage but much smoother and a lot classier also you’re scent trail will leave people taking a an extra sniff after you’ve walked by.
@@bullymaguire4457 carbon is too soft, i can barely smell it and don't last long on my skin that's why i didn't choose it. For prada i like prada luna rossa black, it is soft and smooth but i still can smell it.

Sauvage for me is the opposite I feel like it does not last on my skin, I leave for work at 4:00 AM so I spray about 5 times 2 on the front of my shirt, 2 right under my ears and 1 on the back of my neck for a good scent trail and I feel like by 7:00 AM I don’t pick it up anymore and with Prada Luna Rossa Carbon I spray it and I can smell that thing way way past 7:00 AM more like 11:00 to 12:00 PM even later so it just works better for me I guess every fragrance performs different for everyone.
The longevity on this is impressive, it gets soft but its one of those fragrances that I can still smell on my arm the next morning or even after a shower. To me that’s the perfect scent volume, not too loud but sticks in there till the very end and you don’t stop getting really nice wafts every so often. It’s even got a mild Petrol note ala Fahrenheit, which is probably why it reminds so many people of BDC and Sauvage. If you judge it on its own without needing to reference the earlier Homme releases Homme 2020 is a fantastic scent, it’s the impressive all rounder that just keeps on hitting home runs despite not being the star on the team…
The EDT has poor longevity (based on personal experience) - however suspect on younger men it will perform better. I need to reapply after 2 to 3 hours and need to slightly overspray. The fragrance is very appealing. Most women give it a very positive comment.
When I first tried the fragrance, the pepper note was a bit strong for me in the opening, so I didn’t think much of it. After really letting this one sit, the woods, especially the cedar came to life with such beauty! Now one of my signature scents. Great review!
I’ve had a bottle since May of last year and it’s one of my most complimented and I have over 30. I’m halfway through and I’m sure I’ll get another bottle simply bc it works. It’s not sauvage so everyone is not wearing it. It’s a Swiss Army knife

This fragrance is very elegant but do not be disillusioned as it has no resemblance to Dior Homme Parfum or Dior Homme Intense. There is no Iris or Vanilla. It has grown on me and for certain occasions is perfect. I just wish Dior had given it a unique name to distinguish it from its gourmand cousins.
I slept on this fragrance for a long time being that I thought it would tarnish the line, luckily they made Dior Homme Original and DHI stayed pretty much the same. This is an elegant, versatile scent . I really like this one !
A perfect no brainer spray and go! Ticks all the right boxes and it smells amazing!! I love what Doir did with this formulation. Good ole manly man’s fragrance! On my with 6-8 sprays, I’m getting 12 hours easily. On clothing, the next day. Cheers! 🇦🇺
Dior Homme 2020 (to me) is VERY versatile because it's not a heavy kind of scent in any way and the scent profile is very easy to wear and something a lot of people enjoy. You can definitely use it to the gym (I have) but it's not super soft fresh like versace pour homme. VPH is very much a very fresh kind of scent whereas 2020 is a "lighter" kind of versatile scent. I would not hesitate to use it to the gym, but if you are blind buying it: don't expect it to be a freshie like versace pour homme 😊
I've had this since it first was released in 2020, and I've never got the sweetness, but today, I was wearing Bvlgari Aqva and I absolutely smell the sweetness. Man, it's so good!!
I usually go between 10-15 sprays with this to get decent projection and for it to last a few hours. On my skin, it's a more intimate kind of scent which means I need to spray a lot if I want it to project in a way that people will be able to get a whiff of it. Best thing is to try different number of sprays and see how it develops on you, until you find the perfect amount 😊👍

Like RJ said, it’s because it was reformulated, but it’s more because it’s nothing like what the Homme used to be. If you smell Dior Homme Original side by side, you will understand. The Original is pretty much the same as what Homme used to smell like before the 2020 reformulation. Homme 2020 is still a great fragrance and I enjoy it very much, but it doesn’t compare to the Original or Intense, definitely not the Parfum. At the same time, it’s not in the same category so it’s not comparable to begin with.
I'm not a fan - it's a bit like Sauvage, if you replaced ambroxan with iso e super. Seems a bit basic, I get a synthetic woody vibe. I do love Dior Homme sport, which is similar but a bit more complex. It's probably going to do well with the masses.

I totally agree. Tested this compared to Sauvage and intense in store. I'm a newbie, but Homme has more or a earthen classiness to it, which would suit someone other than myself. (Picked up Sauvage as I'm personally biased to freshness & blues.)
Ok ill get Dior Homme 2020 then im done with my collection for 2 years. Got jpg le male parfum, jpg le male elixir, jpg lebeau a sample bottle of Percival. Also have a sample bottle of Layton but Percival is better.
They are very different. for something quite versatile (that's not powdery) and classy that works throughout the year, Dior Homme (the one in this video) is better. For something for special occasions that really stands out with it's intense powderiness, then it's DHI. Both are fantastic scents but if I had to choose one I would go with DHI. Again, they are very different with different usage. 😊
So my thoughts on 'strong'+ dior homme 2020 or Sauvage EDT. My bottle of Sauvage EDT has always been a strong performer. Conflicting feedback from subscribers on the newer bottles. Some say the new ones are weaker than before and some say it's still a strong fragrance. Dior Homme 2020 is (on my skin) not a strong scent. Feedback from subscribers is that some get great performance out of it, but most feel the same as I in that it's more of an intimate kind of projection. So out of those two fragrances, Sauvage EDT is the one that's more on the strong side.

This is a more woody, less sweet BDC EDP to me. I really love it and it's way cheaper than BDC.
It makes me go Nose blind. The "ISO E Super" note in this fragrance is the culprit. Should have checked the notes before I bought it.
