I think what amazes me is that you are able to pull off your vision flawlessly! The mental gymnastics are beyond my ability and you perform these soaps with what seems minimal effort. If there was a Nobel Soap Award you would win!!
Lisa your an absolute genius !! between mixing your own colours and the designs of your soap your creativity is endless , you are by far one of the best soapers out there . Just amazing !!!!
Several things to say about today’s soap. As someone who uses both watercolours and inks when getting creative, I am incredibly impressed by your ability to make a red colour from your three starting micas. I would never have thought of blending those colours to achieve what you did. However restrictive assessments are here in the U.K., the one thing it hasn’t done is stifled your creativity. In fact, it’s probably ‘encouraged’ you to excel at it. I’m going to have to play more with colours to get some interesting blends now! You are amazingly creative, thank you for the inspiration. I think the finished soap is fabulous and can see why it sold out so quickly! Those flames are perfect magical flames licking round those spooky skulls. Talking of spooky, as much as I like your regular soundtrack, I am particularly fond on the seasonal spookiness your creating in these videos… just felt not enough people had appreciated that. I recon you could probably use that assessment to create version of ‘The Scream’… not copy it… but an homage to it. I suspect you’ve even contemplated that already…. Right? Thanks for another great soap Lisa.
Very cute. I found your color tutorial helpful. Red mica is rather pricy. I have run out of it. I've had desired to make a couple of "Christmas" soaps with red. Money's a little tight and I wasn't sure how to make my own red. With your tips I'm going to try to make my own red with the micas that I already have. Thank you the tip ♡♡♡
Very nice, Lisa! So impressed with your home made red! I'm not surprised these already sold out, they're awesome 🔥💀🔥 Bloke soap, that's so funny :) A term you never hear in America, but I love it.
Lisa you are so clever your ideas are amazing. I bet you get frustrated at times with all the restrictions in the UK it must slow down your creativity at times. Love watching what you come up with. Thanks for sharing with us all.
Thank you so much! I do get frustrated, I don't mind regulations, but the restrictions we are stuck with are in a large way too tight and just money making schemes for the assessors. Things like not being able to swap one skin safe mica for another or perhaps putting a little bit less in, all that sort of stuff that if you want to do it you have to pay for a new assessment, those things are not about safety.
OH MY GOD! I LOVE THIS SOAP!!!!! Sorry, got a little excited there. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and these are just so spooky perfect! If they hadn't already sold out, I'd be buying a bar, shipping to the US be damned. 😍
I LOVE this soap Lisa …. And that skull has got to be easier than the one you made for your scream soap …. I love the colours in this soap … .. the mother of five sons coming out in me 🐝🐝🧼🧼🧼
Another amazing masterpiece! Too bad I discovered you somewhere in mid-2022 so I missed out on this one by a long shot. Oh well, watching you create is always a good time, I find that watching you is quite relaxing.
I am a huge fan of your soaps and your videos! You are incredibly informative and I am very hopeful that you can answer a question for me! When you are formulating your recipes and you are planning on using a lot of soap dough, how do you account for that when making your batter with your calculations? I love how exact and accurate you can get those recipes to be certain to waste the absolute least! Can you touch on that in one of your upcoming videos please?
Thanks so much Riana. In this video I do go through how I account for embeds and soap dough within the restrictions of an assessment. It uses an oil infusion and details of how I calculate that, but the principles are the same for micas etc
Woaw how did you mix these to red? This is super cool soap. I use only oxides and ultramarines due to restricting my assessments to one supplier. Please if you have tips for mixing those to custom colors. Other than one online link. I mean reds for example
Lisa this soap is stunning 😍😍😍! I see you have the same soap sleeves as Cheeky Goat Soaps! I’ve been contemplating getting a couple pairs of those gorgeous Farmer’s Defense sleeves have on in this video. I’m unsure what size to go with. Can you tell me if you sized up or down or if they are pretty true to size? I worry that they’ll either be too tight and the elastic band will dig or be too loose and slide down. I’m sort of in between sizes. What size did you go with? Thanks so much ☺️
How did u get the eyes in the skull? Did u use the black eyes n mouth in the extruded or did u put the black on the skulls with soap dough after u made the skull’s? By the way, this is a kick ass soap , Girl! 🖤🎃🖤
Hello! Do you have separate assessments for the skulls and for the rest of the soap or is it all one assessment? Thank you for all the videos and the hints. Your soap are great!
How do you decide which technique will give you your desired effect? I sometimes find myself trying to guess how you're going to put a soap together, but there's always some part that throws me off and I just cannot figure out how you pull off such magic.
I want to know if you put in an inbed should you still use the normal weight of oils for the soap or the weight should be reduced to accommodate the weight of the inbed?

That's so kind of you to say Jo-Ann , thank you so much 😊
LOVE this soap! You should definitely do more "dark" themed soaps like this one 🖤💀🖤

My mind is blown by that red blend! I never would have thought those three colors would make red, that’s spectacular 🤩
It's cool isn't it :-)

I enjoyed the music to this video much more than the usual breakup music, too.

I literally have 3 skull tattoos! This is my favorite so far! I absolutely love it here!! I will back for more, I'm obsessed with your designs!!

Ooh excellent, it takes a bit of fiddling around but when you've got it right you can make yourself up a batch
I'm always amazed at your colour combinations but today you managed to get the of of pink, purple, and yellow, now that's impressive!

Hello! Do you have separate assessments for the skulls and for the rest of the soap or is it all one assessment? Thank you for all the videos and the hints. Your soap are great!
HI Rebecca, it's all one assessment, you wouldn't be allowed to combine 2 assessments in one soap
@@IDreamInSoap Great thanks! My soap making is OK but I'm still getting to grips with assessments. I haven't started selling yet.
How do you decide which technique will give you your desired effect? I sometimes find myself trying to guess how you're going to put a soap together, but there's always some part that throws me off and I just cannot figure out how you pull off such magic.
Hmm, I don't know, I guess I just understand what each type of pour does, so that helps me choose what to do to match what I want
I want to know if you put in an inbed should you still use the normal weight of oils for the soap or the weight should be reduced to accommodate the weight of the inbed?
The amount of your oils will need to be reduced otherwise your soap will be too big
What does Dragon's Blood smell like?
