  • Exploring cagework beading, or vintage assemblage with wire, just a bit more as we learn about the use of rose montees in our compositions. B'sue explains that rose montees are little glass stones with a pass-through on the bottom that is easily wired or sewn into a design. Using 28 gauge wire she demonstrates how you can go to the next step, not only using pearls and seed beads in your work but now, rose montees. Also discussed is the importance of facing a pendant using two pieces of filigree. We'll do that one again, separately, and soon, since it came out a bit fiddly! I hope you enjoy our new camera angle which will permit you to see more of what's happening in the video. We will continue to work on it to make it better and better. Find the pieces/ parts used in the video at www.bsueboutiqu... . It is a pleasure to bring these videos to you, thank you for taking the time to view them.

Thank you, B'Sue for all the details about the kind of wire to use and exactly how to use it....and for showing us how to fix it when we make a wrong move, so we can still have a well-finished piece.

Thank you Brenda Sue, taught me a lot. I'm very intrigued by this technique and am hoping to learn to make at least a simplified version of it!
