One of the things that American owners like Boley and Watt/Brady seem to forget or just not understand is that, NFL games are played once a week, twice if they play a Sunday then Thursday fixture, where as EFL/Premier League games are twice to 3 times a week. Football teams (soccer) have already made comments about the travel and amount of fixtures played and how it is affecting players.
I was hoping Simon would have brought this thought to the forefront of the conversation especially due to the complaints levied this past PL season.

Pre-season friendly yes, no problem at all.
A League game home or away a hard NO!!!!
The beautiful game is already not as beautiful as it was, and IF this was to ever happen (it might, but I doubt it will, not in my lifetime anyway) the game of football would be really ugly.
Of course as a fan (Birmingham City) I want success, and I know as a fan, that will come at a cost, but this type of idea isn't a cost worth paying, this is ambiguous as it covers the cost to the Clun and fans that would be a cost too far and do so much damage despite the commercial and financial gain. The club would lose way much more, although, football owners these days seem to be all about the ££££ and not the traditions of football.
