Women 'steering' their way as Saudi Arabia lifts ban on female driving

Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Jun 24 (ANI): Women in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh were seen behind the wheels, ‘steering their way’ as the country officially lifts ban on female driving. Women have expressed their happiness and excitement over the government’s move. One of the women drivers said, “There are no words to explain what I’m feeling right now. I can do my own stuff and don’t have to ask anyone. It’s important for us to drive.” Her relative said, “It is so natural for her to drive where it was extremely difficult for us. I’m very thrilled and so happy that our society and leaders to reach this point as it makes us feel so natural.”
