#upcycledbylittletoh ♥️ Taking old forgotten items and giving them a new life ♥️ Thrift Responsibly
I'm starting a new sewing series called Sewing With Scraps, where I try to make something wearable with the fabric scraps from a previous project. I recently turned my grandma's vintage cheongsam (which was way too small to fit me!) and a thrifted curtain into a matching two piece set for Lunar New Year. I had some fabric scraps leftover so I decided to make this adorable patchwork mini skirt!
Check out the tutorial on how I made the matching two piece set here:

The quilting technique created such a cute pattern. And I appreciate you taking the time to explain the zipper and lining.
Girl you eat it up every time. Immaculate as per usual
Obsessed with the original upcycle but this one is sooooo good! 😻
This is such a cool idea! Excellent work, as always. BTW Tiffany, aside from learning a ton about sewing, your videos are why I understand quality garment construction so much better and now I know what to look for when I’m shopping and I have such a better gauge on pricing!
This is very impressive! 👏🏽 love the patch work and definitely want to see the matching purse!!! I like how you’ve been hemming lately. It seems more complicated but I like the finish a lot better. I’m going to try this way of hemming too - it’s really neat!
littletoh, I really liked this video! I subscribed too!
Thanks for this version of sewing the lining, actual finished enclosed hem!
Though I'd probably make the lining a cm shorter so linings really on the inside!
❤thanks!
Love the skirt it's so cute ☺️
I’m in love with the patchwork pattern!! I might use it myself to transform some batik sarongs I have!!
Also with the leftover curtain fabric, you could make a little coatie to match the blouse and skirt set!!
Oooh I'm obsessed with the finished skirt!!
Beautiful! You’re so talented!
Cute skirt
This is adorable!! I need one myself❤❤
Sooooo cute ❤❤❤ the patch work 😍 👌🏽
ohhh girlie this is cute!!!
You should be invited to Cannes ❤
so cute 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
You are amazing! I’m impressed with your creations, but not surprised! You sew very neat and it’s beautiful to see you creating a new piece of art. The skirt is beautiful and look amazing on you. I love the way you sew. 💕🌸🌺
cute!!!
This skirt is so cute! 😍 A matching bag would be adorable!
I'm not a skirt kinda girl, so I am absolutly going to try this as a bag!!
I would like to see you making a matching purse! :)
I love the skirt so much!!
Adorable!
Make a patchwork bag to match!
I love your sewing projects and skills. I would love to know where did you learn to sew and if you have some advice for new sewers
I don’t know if you have ever tried Quilting, but all Quilting is is making patchwork. What you did was a very valid patchwork Square for a quilt. You probably didn’t know you knew how to quilt, did you?
