I have to admit, i was very disappointed by this set at launch. it could have been much better and I agree, the earlier versions looked better with the front grill and tail fins! I too, wish a different colour had been used, but Im sure Prince would approve 😁

First of all there is a lego big size model with fins... the lego ecto 1.
Second of all there is a button to open up the engine bay and is located in the front fender on the left
