Thank you so much for watching and highlighting this important perspective! Corky is a special person. We're thrilled people seem to be enjoying this new series of "Idea to Product."
This Corky is incredible! It makes it seem like everything for him happened magically! Of course, there must have been a very well-crafted piece of work behind everything he said. I loved it! Makes you want to listen to it for hours!
@inventRight ill definitely need a patent. F I've done the best search I know how to however, I'll need the assistance of a proficient attorney in the field to be sure. Do you highly recommend the attorney mentioned in this video?

Sounds like there were a lot of stars that aligned with this guy. Not everyone has those opportunities. It seems that he came from that mindset from his father. I like the advice of being a salesperson. I’m getting better.
And grandfather's grandfather. So we, who don't have that, just have to work harder. Nothing new there. Every video is going to help one way or another. Extract what's useful. Keep casting ! But the best direction I've got is to talk with people in the know. Who does this stuff or something very similar. Find, hunt !
@@neatmachine waiting for a patent to issue is not a great strategy. I am confident he was showing his product with only a provisional patent application.
It's an immaturity on my part to hold that almost absurd amount of fairy dust against a chosen few. But Corky at least is genuinely concerned for especially those on the cusp of giving up and that's heartfelt. We are most of us though mere faulted mortals - and quite a lot truer than just watching and walking out on someone else's movie we are cast in our own variously graded epic with some however small productive say. That might not sound like much but getting into playing it and scripting a part of it might just earn you some of your very own angel dust. Although it's far from over Corky your story is the stuff adventure feelgood books and movies are made of. Thanks for that inventRight and Kevin Prince.
To everybody watching this in the hopes that their inventions are going to make it somehow... it don't matter how good your invention is or whatever, unless you got at least a $100K behind it AND get lucky, it ain't going nowhere.. don't let these fools fool you into thinking you even got a shot.. trust me. It's a lottery ticket.
@inventRight I'm not frustrated, I've given up on all my inventions years ago for the exact reasons I've stated. Without huge marketing and inventory budgets it doesn't matter what you invent if you don't have immense funding somehow. I have some great products, one that would reach into the 100s of millions... who cares? Itm never see the light of day unless I strike it rich or get lucky somehow. Nobody cares and nobody is going to gamble on unproven products. It's so rare that it happens, you're just selling lottery dreams with these videos not telling them the reality of it.
@inventRight EXACTLY MY POINT.. now everyone sees, even with a claim that I have many great products, and even a $100mill invention, it invoked absolutely 0 interest... even from the very people claiming to be experts on bringing inventions to market. This is exactly what you all will get from the market.. 0 interest.. without many thousands behind your invention, nobody cares.
This guy story I’m not saying it’s not true. I’m not saying that but it’s not relatable to the average person and I’ll tell you why it seems like he had zero resistance on his way to success. His first entrepreneurial journey. He meets the owners of Marriott and he tells him to come back? The story is super not relatable.

@@inventRight Hey, yeah, I get it. I'm an awful procrastinator,.... uh, make that a great procrastinator. Maybe I have too many irons in the fire. I've been working on my idea for about 5 years now, from the prototyping stage, to the patenting stage, to the quasi manufacturing stage, to the advertising stage, and then marketing, and now trying to license this thing. It's kinda past procrastination, and somewhat bordering on exhaustion. Sometimes it DOES take a lot of luck. I'm not sure how you create that. ?? I know.. You need to throw a lot, I mean a LOT of darts before you hit the bullseye. I'm still throwing.
