Hello from the UK. I only discovered Joey Pepe Smith about a week ago from reading about him in Julian Cope's JapRockSampler. It's a shame there's no mention of his band, Speed, Glue & Shinki in this video which he formed in Japan with two Japanese musicians. RIP Pepe. Sad that you died just before I discovered you, but still good to know of you. Keep on rockin' wherever you are.

I think the title "King of Pinoy Rock and Roll: must be shared with Sir Mike Hanopol. Both Sir Pepe Smith and Sir Mike Hanopol made significant contirubitions to the Pinoy Rock and Rolll.
He's a legend. A rock icon, BY CHANCE. A band front, a musician, legend, guitar icon who can't play guitar well and can't play solo well. No signature sound, no guitar skill. But a legend. Thanks sa himig natin.
