- Who would've thought that some songs by the Juan dela Cruz band were inspired by the Bible? Mike Hanopol shares some of them in this interview with Powerhouse host Mel Tiangco.

Naging teacher ko si Mike Hanopol ng Torah since 2007, lahat ng tinuturo niya ay ginagawa niya, ibig sabihin kung tinuro niya na iwasan dapat ang honor mula sa ibang tao, iniiwasan nga niya ang honor from other people, kasama na ang mga award giving bodies. Kapag tinuro niya na maging generous or mapagbigay or tumulong sa kapwa, ginagawa niya iyon, lahat ng students niya ay tinutulungan niya financially, sa pamasahe, pagkain, inumin...totoo siyang lingkod ng Diyos ng Israel at inalay na ang buhay nya para magturo ng Torah sa buong mundo habang buhay..
Bakit ganun? Ganyan din ako most of the time dito sa Canada at sa buong buhay ko. Kapag may nagawa akong nakakamangha sa iba at gusto nila ako ng bigyan ng honour, iniiwasan ko palagi kasi parang hindi ko pa deserve yun. Pero nagagalit yung ibang tao dahil sa ugali kong ganyan. Ayaw nila ng ganun. Pero sa tingin ko gusto ko maging humble, hindi man sa nagiging rude ako sakanila. Hindi ko maintindigan kung ako ba ang nagkakamali o di lang nila ako maintindihan dahil nagmula ako sa ibang kultura.
I had a talk with Pepe Smith and ask him about Mike Hanopol and his new vocation. He said "Yup si Mike Hanopol is now a pastor, ako naman pa-skor."

Mike started his music way back when his family lives in Iloilo city, in the early part of the 60's , where they have a band called TRAFFIC JAM, I don't know why it is not mentioned as part of his lifetime stages from where he came from till where he is now?

nandito sya sa thailand lastyear si sir mike hanopol.sinubukan nyang mag concert sa mga kilalang bar dto sa thailand kaso hindi kumita.nakiki usap sya sa mga banda dto na kung pwede bigyan sya ng isang gabi para magperform with the band at kikita sya per table kaso wala tlga.
Ang laki at ganda ng house ni Sir Mike, pero bakit ngayon parang mahirap na sya. Ano po kaya nangyari?
