    Jolly good show my dear fellow. Rather decent demonstration. Good man. 10 out of 10.

      I am just glad you were able to save some money... now that you do not need to buy a new saw

      I wasn't going to put mine in the garbage, but I would have removed a lot more screws and bolts than was necessary to try and fix it

    Thank you. 😁👍
    I didn’t realise sawdust could build up so badly but as it’s raining, it’s a job for tomorrow! ☔️😁

    So instead of taking all the screws out just turn it over and loosen that one bolt. Doesn't look like the other stuff is related unless you just want to more thoroughly clean it.

    I've got a foot-long thick wood piece stuck on the blade. I don't want to keep trying to cut it and make it worse and it won't just pull off. How do I free the wood from the blade?

    • @fromcarstocomputers7261
      @fromcarstocomputers7261  ปีที่แล้ว

      You could ( unplug saw ) then remove blade then pry the blade out or turn the board over and cut about a 1/8 inch beside the other cut using a saw saw or jig saw and that would release the pressure enough to remove the blade.
      If your blade is stuck that bad then the blade might have overheated and is now bad anyway.

    Was it stuck because it was intentionally tightened to only do 90 degree cuts? Or did it somehow seize up over time?

    • @fromcarstocomputers7261
      @fromcarstocomputers7261  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it got stiff over time.

      @@fromcarstocomputers7261 Thanks. Someone was selling one that was also stuck (sitting in a shed for years), but the bolt underneath was loose. He finally made it turn using a hammer.

    How you keep your tailgate up without a damn handle/ latch? You bungie it or something?

    • @fromcarstocomputers7261
      @fromcarstocomputers7261  ปีที่แล้ว

      The latches still work I just pull the small bars that did go into the handle to open the tailgate, the truck was like this when I got, maybe someday i will fix it.

    The pin to unlock saw is stuck?

    • @fromcarstocomputers7261
      @fromcarstocomputers7261  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No it just did not move because the center bolt was tight. Now the bolt may have been fine to start with but over time Corrosion or debris or even the frame of the saw could have warped over time causing a bind on the main bolt.

    My miter saw will turn left or right between 1 and about 28 degrees. Then it feels like it is butting against something, but I cannot see what. It slides easily between those two degrees, but I can "force" it to zero, but it's obvious something is in the way, but I do not know what. The bottom bolt isn't as accessible as it seems to be for you.

      Could be a warped / expanded deck on the saw. Yes you should locate the bolt I show in this video and loose it a little but not so much that the thing wiggle too much in the normal areas ( and make sure it cant work its way off over time that could cause an accident. you could even try to add a little grease in the tight areas. take a level and place it across the deck left to right and look for a gap around the middle part ( the cut area ) It should not have a gap ( when you find the bolt look around for signs that the end of travel area is not blocked by corrosion or have other junk built up
