At 5:25 Frank mentions pipe tobacco with disdain. We later later learn in season 4 Frank's father smokes from a pipe. That's really subtle, may not even be intentional
Obviously Frank kinda sucks but for some reason I wanna look up to him. Maybe he'll get his shit together and get some resolution with his Dad in season 4

Actually, one of the big issues back in that time was women had a lot of trouble surviving on their own after a divorxe- especially a rough one- because they weren't properly prepared in their lives to be on their own and without a man to support them. It would definitely be interesting to see someone like Sue deal with that though.
@@ThisCatIsBored yea cause they didn't have daddy government to make him give over half his shit. If some woman leaves me she ain't getting a god damn thing from me that I earned. Don't give a shit if the judge orders it I'll go to prison.
@@timesthree5757 Well that's your business, but back then women usually couldn't get jobs or go to proper schooling past highschool/minimal college because they became relegated to being housewives early/young. Because of this of the couple were to split the woman would not be able to support herself and would be shit out of luck, that's a big reason why divorces are still often kinder to the woman's side- though that's begun to slowly shift now that women are more capeable and employed in the modern day.
@@ThisCatIsBored yea non of that is true. Bought the propaganda didn't ya. As it turns out most women chose to be house wives. They didn't want to get jobs. They raised kids. Government welfare was started for single moms back in the 30's. The civil rights laws passed in the 60's also included sex. The reason divorce was low back then was because men and women were taught loyalty and responsibility over happiness. Happiness is temporary.

"Getting a job of your dreams is that easy"
Frank:"No it isn't" I felt that 💯😂😂😂
Same. 4 years of college and 10s of thousands of dollars of debt for a chance to get a job and even less of a chance for it to be a dream job.
