looks great. I have a high deck and was thinking of this to keep it dry below -- but so much work compared to laying deck boards.
    Cheers

They make tongue and groove vinyl decking as well. This method is typically used for a roof. The brand Duradek uses what they call a " rain gutter " it's much smaller than the gutters around the roof of a home or building its a small vinyl U shaped channel approximately a 1/2 in. It diverts the rain from pouring directly down into a porch or screen room below. This installation is more like glue down black rubber. Typically the vinyl goes over the edges down into the small gutter system mentioned above. It's wraps heated to wraps around corners neatly and the seams become seamless by heat welding. I have never seen this product installed this way only black rubber membrane.

@@Dave-ps3ff this product is geared for decks and any low slope roofs. It's made by Deck-king.

How did you go about the door threshold? How was it sealed?

How would you go about screwing 4x4 supports into the vinyl decking? Would caulking be used?

You would use poly urethane calling around the penetrating points. You could run the vinyl up the post if it is installed already.

I thought the seams had to be fusion welded? with heat gun? you do not show that?

Wow beautiful, how long will this last ? What are the pros and cons for installing these?

Depends on use and climate, but in the Pacific Northwest my material usually lasts around 20 years. Pros to vinyl are it's a lot more comfortable, durable, and very weatherproof (if installed correctly). Cons are cost (it's on the pricier side of deck finishes), heat (depending on the type of material and average temperature in a region vinyl can be very hot underfoot) and issues with the deck's structure if installed incorrectly or not replaced on time.

Use ardex mrf filler or a moisture resistant filler. Most vinyl brands have a brand or product they would recommend.

It may look easy and nice but what is questionable is the waterproofing properties..

They have been used on flat roofs for years the seams are excellent.

Inject glue with a syringe. After you have rolled the area use a CA glue to seal the hole. Or melt it together with a soldering iron.
