    I think a VERY IMPORTANT tip you touched on is to NOT TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY! 😌 You have NO IDEA what’s going on in someone’s life, and the way someone treats or behaves towards you may have absolutely nothing to do with their feelings towards you, and may be affected by so many other variables! Be professional! Care about yourself ♥️ Thanks Sarah

      Thats right, you have no idea whats going on in someone’s life, so be professional and leave your problems are the door. Someone may be going through a crisis and acting like a jerk toward them really should not be happening.

    When I saw nurses get slammed with admissions, and all the paperwork I just jump in do whatever they need, later on if I need help, much better response! You want help? Offer help don't be the one just surfing the desk! You need an IV, ask but also offer to grab some task in return! Makes life on the floor much much better!

    it is so important what you just said, but I was smilling to much that some nurses even told me to stop smilling. it is sad but is reality.

    Don't forget how to communicate to your PCT's. I can't count the number of times I've been degraded. Now I know better, but many nurses forget that PCT's can have little or no experience, and little to no education. And it's professional and in the spirit of nursing to treat those "underneath" you with respect.

    Hi I just want to ask. Do you think it’s possible to be a nurse even English is just your second language?

    • @marys3738
      @marys3738 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Did you ever get a response? I'm not a nurse but work closely with nurses at a hospital and English is my second language. There are times when no matter how hard I try, they rolled their eyes at me because it is taking me too long to explain or they make fun of my accent when I turn around. Sometimes they like to pretend they don't understand what I'm saying. Not all but some nurses are mean.
