- A batch of Washington state park opens from April 1st to mid of May for clam digging, they provide better clamming opportunity then those opened year around. It's a raining day, I was able to get 2 limits of manila clam with my son. And then enjoyed some fresh oyster at the beach.
You can find clam beach information at here:

Nice video bro.....keep them coming
Thanks! Will do!
Thank you bashi for sharing good video
Thanks for your support, my friend!
the view of that location is so awesome. nice family bonding.
Yes, it's a beautiful place
Nice video bashi
Thanks bro!
Great video! I'm new to clamming and am always interested to see the slight differences in people's digging techniques.
Thanks! Tools with long handle helps a lot.
My favorite spot to go is Birch Bay (near the border)- almost always safe, and almost always fist sized butter clams at the smallest. They also have horse clams and geoducks when the tide grts super low. There are other kinds of clams there too but i usually only bother with the butters because they get so big!
Thanks for sharing, I have never been there before, hope I can try it some day.
I hope you get to as well! There will be some excellent low tides up there this summer!
@@WillardTrees Thanks my friend, added this one into my list.
I know where that is lol very nice place, been there many times😊
It's a good beach, just too far away, almost 4 hours round trip for me
I’m just getting myself familiar with the pursuit and harvest of steamer type clams. What is the name of the undesirable clam you showed Bashi? Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching, it's Varnish clam.
Great video!! I would like to try it out and take my 4 year old clamming. Any reccomendations for a newbie like me to go? I am located in the edmonds area.. Idealy no more than 2 hrs away! Thank you!!
The beach I went to is closed now. You can search for clam beach at here wdfw.wa.gov/places-to-go/shellfish-beaches
Excellent video, greetings. It is a good place to enjoy with the family. What place is it?
email me
Hey Bashi great video, I just send an email to you 😊about where to find the beach
Thanks for your support
Hi Bashi, I believe you were referring the Varnish clams as not healthy to eat.. do you mind to share more? we went clamming today and all we got were Varnish clams…. Thanks!
Varnish clams and butter clams store toxins longer than other species, and can remain toxic for more than a year after a bloom subsides

Nice video man! I'm also living in Seattle and learning to be a new angler now. Just bought all the fishing equipment, following the setup in your video, to start with fishing crappie. May I ask which place might be a good place for fishing crappie, especially in the Eastside? Also, is it good time to fish crappie now or maybe later?
There are many good lakes at eastside for crappie. Moses lake, banks lake, potholes, snake river, etc. Once the water temperature reaches 55F, then it's good time.
Which one do you recommend if going this weekend? We are from Renton, WA… thanks!
@@wlee917 For clam?
