The enemies of Islām and the mules of the shaytans' main target is the destruction of Salāfiyyah. الحمد لله they're fighting a losing battle إن شاء الله
Nothing can ever extinguish the Light of Allāh ﷻ! So submit to Allāh ﷻ; repent and return back to the Sunnah - or perish in your rage!

Do you know what the problem is with these so calles salafees. The fact that they rather call them selfs a salafi than a muslim. I dare you and al the people who call themselves salafee to show me one aya or one hadeeth that theaches us to call us that. You are fighting bida ah with another bidah that was not the way of the salaf

The term Salāf is in the Qur'ān. Likewise the Prophet ﷺ used this term. There are plenty of books, articles and audios of the Scholars attributing this blessed term to the saved sect. You're clearly waffling and you're clearly being negligent. Do your research before you further embarrass yourself.

Imaam As-Safaareenee said: “What is meant by the madh-hab (belief) of the Salaf is that which the Companions, may Allaah be pleased with them, adhered to, as well as the distinguished ones who followed them upon goodness, their successors and the Imaams of the Religion - those who received testimony as to their leadership, were known for their great status in the Religion and whose words are taken by the people after the Salaf, apart from those who are accused of innovation or renowned for unacceptable ascriptions such as the Khawaarij, Rawaafid, Qadariyyah, Murji’ah, Jabariyyah, Jahmiyyah, Mu’atazilah, Karaamiyyah and those similar to them.” [5]

As-Sam'aanee (d.562H) said in al-lnsaab (3/273): "As-Salafi: this is an ascription to the Salaf and following their ways, in that which is related from them." lbn al-Atheer (d.630H) said in al-Lubaab fee Tahdheebul-lnsaab (2/162), commenting upon the previous saying of as-Sam'aanee: "And a group were known by this ascription." So the meaning is: that the term Salafi, and its ascription to them, was a matter known in the time of Imaam as-Sam'aanee, or before him

I say: He never entered into 'ilmul-kalaam, nor argumentation. Rather, was a Salafee (a follower of the Salaf)."[Siyar 16/457]

    1. Narrated Aisha (RadhiAllahu Anha) that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, ‘“But this year he reviewed it with me twice, and therefore I think that my time of death has approached. So, be afraid of Allah, and be patient, for I am the best SALAF (PREDECESSOR) for you (in the Hereafter).”’ [Sahih Bukhari, - The Book of Asking Permission, Hadeeth no. 5885]
    2. Abu Haneefah (Rahimahullah) (d. 150H) said: “Adhere to the aathaar (narration) and the tareeqah (way) of the Salaf (Pious Predecessors) and beware of newly invented matters for all of it is innovation” [Reported by as-Suyootee (Rahimahullah) in Sawn al Mantaq wal-Kalaam p.32]
    3. Imaam al-Awzaee (Rahimahullah) (d.157H) said: “Hold fast to the narrations of the salaf, even if people were to abandon you. Beware of the opinions of the people, no matter how much they beautify it with their speech.” [Related by al-Khateeb al-Baghdadee (Rahimahullah) in his excellent book Sharafu Ashaabul-Hadeeth (p.7)]
    4. Imaam al-Asbahaanee (Rahimahullah) (d.535H) said: “The sign of Ahlus-Sunnah is that they follow the Salafus-Saalih and abandon all that is innovated and newly introduced into the Deen.” [Al-Hujjah fee Bayaanil Mahajjah 1/364]
    5. As-Sam’aanee (Rahimahullah) (d.562H) said in al-lnsaab (3/273): “As-Salafi: this is an ascription to the Salaf and following their ways, in that which is related from them.”
    6. lbn al-Atheer (Rahimahullah) (d.630H) said in al-Lubaab fee Tahdheebul-lnsaab (2/162), commenting upon the previous saying of as-Sam’aanee: “And a group were known by this ascription (salafi).”
    7. lbn Taymiyyah (Rahimahullah) (d.728H) said: “There is no criticism for the one who proclaims the way (madhdhab) of the Salaf, who attaches himself to it and refers to it. Rather, it is obligatory to accept that from him by unanimous agreement (Ittifaaq) because the way (madhdhab) of the Salaf is nothing but the Truth (Haqq).” [Majmoo al-Fataawaa 4:149]
    8. Imaam adh-Dhahabee (Rahimahullah) (d.748H) said: “It is authentically related from ad-Daaraqutnee (Rahimahullah) (d. 995 C.E., 385 A.H.) that he said: There is nothing more despised by me than ‘ilmul-kalaam (innovated speech and rhetorics). I say: He never entered into ‘ilmul-kalaam, nor argumentation. Rather, he was a Salafee (a follower of the Salaf).”[Siyar 16/457]
    9. Also, Imam al-Dhahabee (Rahimahullah) described Ibn al-Salah (Rahimahullah), a prominent hadith specialist of the sixth century (577-643 AH), as: “Firm in his religiosity, salafi in his generality and correct in his denomination. [He] refrained from falling into common pitfalls, believed in Allah and in what Allah has informed us of from His names and description.”
    10. In another of his works, Tadhkirat al-huffaz, Imam al-Dhahabi (Rahimahullah) said of Ibn al-Salah (Rahimahullah): “I say: He was salafi, of sound creed, abstaining from the interpretations of the scholars of rhetoric, believing in what has been textually established, without recourse to unjustified interpretation or elaboration.
    11. Haafidh Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (Rahimahullah) also used the term, salafi to describe Muhammad ibn al-Qaasim ibn Sufyan al-Misri al-Maliki (Rahimahullah) (d. 966 C.E., 355 A.H.) He said that al-Malaiki was: “Salafi al-madh’hab - salafi in his school of thought.”
    12. In his book, Tabsir al-Muntabih, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (Rahimahullah) mentioned the ascription al-Salafi and named Abd al-Rahman ibn Abdillah ibn Ahmad Al-Sarkhasi al-Salafi (Rahimahullah) as an example of its usage. Ibn Hajar then said: “And, likewise, the one ascribing to the salaf.”

@Smart Rabbit you said 'was the nabi a Salaf?'
      Let us analyze...
The word “Salafi” is derived from the Arabic word “salaf.” Salaf means “predecessor” or “forefather” and refers to the first three generations of Muslims. ...
The prophet Mohammed is said in a Hadith, “...I am the best Salaf for you...”
Knowing what Salaf means let us answer your question, was the Prophet Salaf?
The answer would obviously be, Yes! Did he (the Prophet) call himself a Salaf, no (the Scholars would have mentioned it and we would know if he called himself a salaf or not).
Allah called us Muslims, and that's the best thing we should call ourselves.
However if there is a need to differentiate between who's upon haqq and baatil then that is fine.
In this day and age misguidance, innovation and blind followers are abundant, so people must remember the clear path and beware of the devils tricks and false-beautification.
At the time of Ibn Abbas after the death of our Prophet, when deviant groups started popping our such as the Khawarij, they used the term Ahlul Sunnahti Wal Jama'ah to know who's upon Truth and False.
In our era, my beloved brother the term Salaf is used to separate and distinguish from those deviant sects (which are abundant as well as innovation)
Each person is obliged to follow the guidance of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his Companions. This is the way of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah and the followers of the righteous predecessors (al-salaf al-saalih) < all of this means Salafi or the way of the salaf.
the four madhhabs are named after the four imams - Imam Abu Haneefah, Imam Maalik, Imam al-Shaafa’i, and Imam Ahmad.
These imams learned fiqh (jurisprudence) from the Qur’aan and Sunnah, and they are mujtahideen in this regard. The mujtahid either gets it right, in which case he will have two rewards, the reward for his ijtihaad and the reward for getting it right, or he will get it wrong, in which case he will be rewarded for his ijtihaad and will be forgiven for his mistake.
The madhhab of Abu Haneefah (may Allaah have mercy on him) is the most widespread madhhab among the Muslims, and perhaps one of the reasons for that is that the Ottoman caliphs followed this madhhab and they ruled the Muslim lands for more than six centuries. That does not mean that the madhhab of Abu Haneefah is the most sound madhhab or that every ijtihaad in it is correct, rather like other madhhabs it contains some things that are correct and some that are incorrect.
What the believer must do is to follow the truth and what is correct, regardless of who says it.
And the Methodology of the Salaf advocates this practice, to not blindly follow but to seek knowledge and find the truth with whomever it may be it, whether it's with Haneefah, Shaafa'i, Maalik, Ahmed..etc...
And we only blind follow the Prophets and especially the last Prophet as we are apart of his Ummah.
A Muslim should increase knowledge and seek salvation and avoid arguments that have no benefit.
May Allah bless our Prophet Muhammad.
      And Allah knows best.

Alhamdulilah it is known that Shamsi is soft and lenient when it is needed then harsh when it is needed. - THIS is from the sunnah. The prophet at times was harsh and at times was soft.
As ibn Al qayyim said wisdom is the appropriate action, in the befitted time as it should be done

Dont take offence, but we have the right to ask... is Shamsi at least an Alim? (Usually an 8 year course...) if he's not, it's not an issue. But aaking for credentials when taking knowledge from someone is part of Islam.

This 'aalim course is known from Daar ul uloom up north England run by deobandis.
You can't become an 'aalim by completing a course. Completing a course does not mean you have correct understanding of the religion
As for Shamsi's credentials then he has been given permission to teach by sheikh fawzaan. He was also known to the scholars such as sheikh zayd Al madkhali, sheikh Ahmed an-najmi, and he has a link with current scholars. He is also known for his efforts in dawah by Abu khadeejah Abdul waahid, Abu iyaad amjad rafeeq, Abu hakeem bilal davis, Abu muadh taqweem aslam, Abu idrees muhammed, Abdulilah lahmami, Uways taweel and others
