Story.... A Son’s Journey for His Mother Once upon a time, there was a young man named Leo. Leo was very poor and lived with his mother in a small village. They didn’t have much, but they had each other, and Leo’s mother always worked hard to provide for him. She was kind and gentle, and Leo loved her more than anything in the world. One winter, Leo’s mother fell very ill. She was weak, could barely eat, and spent most of her days lying in bed. Leo tried everything he could to help her: he made warm soups, kept her comfortable, and stayed by her side. But nothing seemed to work, and her health only got worse. One day, Leo decided that he needed to find a doctor. There was no doctor in their village, but he had heard that a skilled doctor lived in the town across the valley. Leo knew it was a long and difficult journey, but he couldn’t just sit and watch his mother suffer. With only a few coins in his pocket, Leo set out on his journey. He walked for hours through the cold, snowy paths. His feet hurt, and he felt hungry, but he kept moving, thinking only of his mother. “I have to find help,” he whispered to himself. “She needs me.” After hours of walking, Leo finally reached the town. He went from house to house, asking if anyone knew where he could find the doctor. Some people ignored him, and others just shook their heads, saying they didn’t know. Feeling discouraged, Leo sat down to rest. Suddenly, a kind woman approached him. She asked, “Are you alright, young man? You look tired and cold.” Leo explained his situation, telling her about his sick mother and his search for the doctor. The woman listened carefully, and then she smiled gently. “I know where the doctor lives,” she said. “He is my friend. I will take you to him.” Leo followed the woman through the town until they reached a small, simple house. She knocked on the door, and an older man opened it. This was the doctor Leo had been searching for. The woman introduced them, and Leo explained his mother’s illness, his voice filled with hope and worry. The doctor listened and said, “I will help you, young man. I can see how much you care for your mother.” But then, he hesitated. “I don’t work for free, and you seem to have little money.” Leo’s heart sank. He showed the doctor the few coins he had and said, “This is all I have, but please, help my mother. She is all I have in this world.” The doctor looked at Leo for a moment, seeing his worry and love. Finally, he nodded and said, “Alright. I will help you. Love is worth more than money.” The doctor packed his bag with herbs and medicine, and together, they traveled back to Leo’s village. When they arrived, the doctor carefully examined Leo’s mother and gave her the medicine she needed. He stayed with them for a few days, making sure she got better. Slowly, Leo’s mother regained her strength. She began to eat again and smile. Leo felt a deep gratitude he couldn’t express in words. He thanked the doctor every day, promising to repay him one day. Before the doctor left, he smiled at Leo and said, “You already repaid me, young man. Your love for your mother reminds me of why I became a doctor. Take care of her, and remember that sometimes, kindness and love are the best medicines.” Leo watched the doctor leave, feeling grateful and relieved. He had learned that love and determination could make even the hardest journey possible. With his mother healthy again, Leo knew that they would always be there for each other, no matter how difficult life became.
I love seeing how every day I understand more without subtitles, as there are fewer new words for me. I appreciate your work and see you in the next video. 😊

A Son’s Journey for His Mother
Once upon a time, there was a young man named Leo. Leo was very poor and lived with his mother in a small village. They didn’t have much, but they had each other, and Leo’s mother always worked hard to provide for him. She was kind and gentle, and Leo loved her more than anything in the world.

“She needs me.”
