"Booth falling to the ground" means the boy and the stone. For sure the rose is falling too.

She made him kill her parents because she wanted to get rid of them for whatever reason... The lyrics are inspired by Goethe's poem "Heiderösslein", and "Rosenrot" is a character from a fairy tale of the Grimm Brothers.
In France, we have a saying that translates as "beware of still waters", but in German they say "Stille Wasser sind tief" (still waters ground deep), which doesn't have the warning element it has in French, it simply means that quiet people have an intense interior life.

The boy and the rose are meant by both. Metaphorically, there are certainly other possible interpretations. When the boy falls from the rock, it is certainly also an emotional crash for the girl when her loved one dies.
The song lyrics are influenced by the poem Heidenröslein by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

You got it all. 👍♥ There is just one little extra in the lyrics for the native language speakers: "Tiefe Wasser sind nicht still" (deep waters are not still) is also a twist on the German proverb and warning "Stille Wasser sind tief" (still waters run deep) - which means don't underestimate deep water (not just literally).
🤫 I ones heart another twist on this proverb (which might fit to this song, even though it was not related to it): "Stille Wasser sind tief und dreckig." (Still waters run deep and are dirty.)
