Why do you take 9-10% as the base of your returns? Wouldn't it make more sense to use a total market return as the base, about 7-8%? Seems marginal but isn't with compound returns. The US has benefitted significantly for the 80 years from WWII. We were geographically separated from the damage, and our help to rebuild and some policies put in place made us the world economic powerhouse to see excess stock market returns. It would make sense for us to return to the mean... Maybe not a swing to lower returns, given our biggest companies are largely multi-national in their customer base, but it would make sense that the US stock market eventually returns to 7-8% too.
@EverythingMoney I'm okay - I don't believe there is a real strategy that is likely to beat the market long term. Yes, there are outliers, but the reality is that most people should focus on earning more, and simply invest in a broad, low fee ETF. If there was a real strategy to beat the market, more actual fund managers would. Simply, though, a 7-8% ROI to project returns is much better for the average person to use to identify what they need to invest to give them a shot at a manageable retirement.
If you're looking for a return of 7/8% you should just invest in the S&P 500 or something similar. With individual stock picking you are basically trying to 'beat the market' so it is more than reasonable to want 10% returns.
@@robins3462 he said if you're looking for 9-10% returns you should invest in an S&P ETF. My question was why he's using the US and not the world market as the true gauge. I do have my projections at 7.5% to be on par with world returns, and I have an 80/20 split between VT and VOO. Many years ago I subcribed to this channel. I remember it was a hot topic when Paul challenges other youtuber that promote PLTR. The challenge was to start with 1M and see who has a bigger return after 2 or 3 years (cant remember exact years). Who ever losses need to donate certain amount of money to charity. If that person accepted it, Paul might be having a nightmare now. 😂 He shit talks PLTR so much that time when PLTR hovering under $14 a share.
Didn't you go down this road with the Palantir several years ago? If I would've listened to you it would've cost me 200 grand. Some people never learn.
SMCI - It would be funny getting your opinion on that. It's the only A.I that's cheep. Even if their finances are off by billions they are still "cheap".
If a company doubles Earnings in 4 years, then it's average growth rate over those 4 years would be 72/4 = 18% per year. Assuming they could maintain that growth % into the future for 10 years or more, then the average growth rate would be 18% per year.... By the Benjamin Graham Formula, the Realistic P/E to pay for the stock would be 8.5 + 2g = 8.5 + 2x18 = 44.5 max. and that would be priced for perfection... Tesla is selling at P/E of 104.5 x Earnings... It would have to grow at (104.5 - 8.5) / 2 = 96/2 = 48% into the far future to justify the current P/E...
I personally believe HIMS is dirt cheap for its growth and is also a massively misunderstood business since all the idiotic retail investors think they are just a GLP-1 provider which is 100% false. Also the HERS business is growing really fast.
This guy has been trashing NVDA since 20 bucks. He has no ability to project future revenues on a disruption company. Donald Trump literally just announced minimum 500B in AI investment over the next 4 years. a lot of that will go straight to NVDA Im also big on TSLA but that is more of a risk. They have clear advantages when it comes to Humanoid robots, and Self driving cars
nvidia pe is high but it is justified. They will likely dominate ai data center space for the next 2 years. And it is sooner or later, every major country in the world has to build one. Their revenue growth can't be lower than 20 and can go as high as 50% for the next 2 years. Their forward earning should be around 35 or less not 44.
Tesla is a huge value . Think about their huge factories in Austin and Shanghai. New factory in Nevada ..million sq feet. Huge new Megapack factory in Shanghai..huge amazing computer in Austin using thousands of nvda chips
They're absolutely not the most hyped stocks right now. Yes they're overpriced and overhyped, but look at the quantum computer stocks. Some are on the verge of bankruptcy and went 10×. Most don't have a product and went to the moon. It's way more overhyped
NVDA is going to thrive for years to come. 500 billion Ai bill only fuels more data center I.E. more Nvidia chips. For a company that continues to grow QoQ and YoY. Tesla is more speculative but has been for 5 years now. PLTR is overpriced
Lol! 22:40 to 23:00 is also how people talk about your crash predictions for the past million years!! Strange world I presume. In 20 years, Tesla will be the only electric car company left that is profitable. There might be other car companies but they will be like the Ford to GM of today, no growth!
You said “may not”. So I agree it is possible these stocks may falter. But I don’t agree in the same percentage of possibilities as u do. Time reveals all things. I have no problems with anyone’s opinions as long as I’m free to follow my own. Here’s where you may be right (if the companies flat line on growth). Here’s where you may be wrong (if the companies keep performing). Oh… I think it’s an error in judgement to take personal shots at the CEO because he rubs you the wrong way. He has had no negative (only positive) impact on PLTR.
There are still issue with AI models on copyright and transparency and how these models trained . It looks like in future the AI infra n LLM stocks will be more in even field . Wait for Elon Musk!!! AMZN cultivating their own AI chips bringing open enterprise
What if tesla creates new ai products that just crush. I guess the mote around tesla is getting weaker. They once were the only one in the ev game. Not so much anymore.
Keep busting the money chasers and FOMO investors over the head 😆. A lot of feelings hurt in the comments and it's hilarious. The only way I invest in any of these companies is through the ETFs I hold. Other than that these companies are so full of hot air they're ready to float around the skies like balloons. Great video.
The ev tax credit going away will hurt other automakers like ford and gm who already LOSE money on every electric vehicle sold, why would Elon have said repeatedly he thinks the tax credit is dumb if it would hurt Tesla? Also I don’t believe anyone should buy Tesla and only look at what they are producing today, this ignores FSD, FSD licensing, robotaxi, growing energy business, and most importantly the Optimus bot. For example if tesla replaced 10% of line workers with bots it would be a cost savings of $250-300 million dollars per year….. If you have a 1-5 year time horizon maybe tesla isn’t for you but if you plan on buying companies for 10-20-30 years then I think it’s just too risky not to own. All my opinion NFA of course.
If you would have bought Nvidia back early last year when he did videos on it you would have doubled your money at the minimum. Revenue has more than doubled since he did those videos. This guy would be good in a bear market but he misses a lot in a bull market. He missed out on most of the obvious tech stocks of the last 2 years.
By talking shit about these stocks you are losing money on a daily basis. Uve been wrong so many times. Like when you said tsla was overvalued. If u bought id make 4 times ur money.
Wow, that is pretty inflexible… what ever happened to investing is an art as much as a science …..how about using some thought & discretion instead of hard and fast rules? so if i understand this, your discipline let you buy PLTR at 5 bucks but not 5.80…. But since you didn’t hit your price target you didn’t buy and it has ripped several hundred percent since to over 75 bucks a share today….
Think your good with Nvidia for 2 years there is no competition right now both Microsoft Googles Amazon developing their own chips is a year out . Closest competitor AMD is inferior performance wise and will only gain maybe 8to 10 percent of the market over next 2 years with project Stargate and few other big data centers over next 2 years Nvidia is by themselves unless China starts a war with Tawain think Nvidia will get more supply through TSMC you are right about after 2 years things get cloudy eventually so ebody will get some competition and will cut into Nvidia. But think got at least year and half before that will become a major issue I'm looking for price target around 175 to 200 over next year.

He shit talks PLTR so much that time when PLTR hovering under $14 a share.
Didn't you go down this road with the Palantir several years ago? If I would've listened to you it would've cost me 200 grand. Some people never learn.
SMCI - It would be funny getting your opinion on that. It's the only A.I that's cheep. Even if their finances are off by billions they are still "cheap".
Palantir
Nvidia
Tesla
In contrast, agree with Stanley Druckenmiller, AEM, GDXU and AYASF to replace all 3 until gold passes $2900/oz
Okay - GC
What are you talking about? Lithium prices are rock bottom. Tesla had record low COGS last quarter…
Agreed throw sofi in there too while you’re at it
Sure thing - GC
Tesla is so diversified now and will continue growth in the other stuff ... maybe not so much in cars though ??
only time now, til Chinese cars are in USA ..... and Trump hard down on EVs and anything 'conservation'
Good stuff - GC
I personally believe HIMS is dirt cheap for its growth and is also a massively misunderstood business since all the idiotic retail investors think they are just a GLP-1 provider which is 100% false. Also the HERS business is growing really fast.
Yea they are interesting , would have to do a deeper dive .AP
This guy has been trashing NVDA since 20 bucks. He has no ability to project future revenues on a disruption company.
Donald Trump literally just announced minimum 500B in AI investment over the next 4 years. a lot of that will go straight to NVDA
Im also big on TSLA but that is more of a risk. They have clear advantages when it comes to Humanoid robots, and Self driving cars
Good stuff - GC
You should post a video on how many opportunities you lost 🎉. Not much point in (value) investing!
Not bad idea .AP
nvidia pe is high but it is justified. They will likely dominate ai data center space for the next 2 years. And it is sooner or later, every major country in the world has to build one. Their revenue growth can't be lower than 20 and can go as high as 50% for the next 2 years. Their forward earning should be around 35 or less not 44.
Nice one -GC
Tesla is a huge value . Think about their huge factories in Austin and Shanghai. New factory in Nevada ..million sq feet. Huge new Megapack factory in Shanghai..huge amazing computer in Austin using thousands of nvda chips
Good point - GC
They're absolutely not the most hyped stocks right now. Yes they're overpriced and overhyped, but look at the quantum computer stocks. Some are on the verge of bankruptcy and went 10×. Most don't have a product and went to the moon. It's way more overhyped
Tx for the note -GC
NVDA is going to thrive for years to come. 500 billion Ai bill only fuels more data center I.E. more Nvidia chips. For a company that continues to grow QoQ and YoY.
Tesla is more speculative but has been for 5 years now.
PLTR is overpriced
Good stuff....tx for sharing - GC
These 3 stovks are overvalued😮
Even Tesla's future tech is HARDWARE. They can never approach software margins. It's a dream to think they will ever become immensely profitable.
Keep shorting Nvidia 😂
Lol! 22:40 to 23:00 is also how people talk about your crash predictions for the past million years!! Strange world I presume. In 20 years, Tesla will be the only electric car company left that is profitable. There might be other car companies but they will be like the Ford to GM of today, no growth!

Bagholders may not like this video but it's true.
Exactly not everyone likes hearing it .AP
You want Josh Allen or Steph Curry on your team, you MUST pay a premium.
Otherwise keep bottom fishing!
Good comment - GC
So what I’m getting is that you missed out on exponential growth because of a the difference between 6/5$???? PLTR
I suppose that’s reasonable .. 😅
What's a few millions amongst friends 😅 - GC
that was awesome
Sofi doesn’t get enough love
Yep , they are in a though place .AP
You said “may not”. So I agree it is possible these stocks may falter. But I don’t agree in the same percentage of possibilities as u do. Time reveals all things. I have no problems with anyone’s opinions as long as I’m free to follow my own. Here’s where you may be right (if the companies flat line on growth). Here’s where you may be wrong (if the companies keep performing). Oh… I think it’s an error in judgement to take personal shots at the CEO because he rubs you the wrong way. He has had no negative (only positive) impact on PLTR.
You are totally right .AP
Never got to $5.00 but got to $5.80
What a clown!
If your a true investor in a company
That 80c difference caught up to you
One love - GC
He is only conservative on stocks that he does not own. For stocks he owns such as Intel, it is OK to be aggressive, ignoring the decline.
Tx for the visit - GC
Paul that shit was hilarious 😂
Love that you like it .AP
I sold most of positions and keep profits
Congrats ! Hope you continue doing well .AP
you want to understand Tesla....justy say robotaxi
There are still issue with AI models on copyright and transparency and how these models trained . It looks like in future the AI infra n LLM stocks will be more in even field . Wait for Elon Musk!!! AMZN cultivating their own AI chips bringing open enterprise
I feel like you don't even use your own research if you choose pltr over nvda wtf paul

Buy Swedish shares now
What if tesla creates new ai products that just crush. I guess the mote around tesla is getting weaker. They once were the only one in the ev game. Not so much anymore.
But they are ahead on their tech .AP
Het rid of the repetitive sales pitch.. 😴😴😴😴😴
Tx for following us - GC
When everyone is greedy, be afraid. As for loving Musk, that’s enough to question your clarity, probably
Love it .AP
Tx for the note -GC
If you would have bought Nvidia back early last year when he did videos on it you would have doubled your money at the minimum. Revenue has more than doubled since he did those videos. This guy would be good in a bear market but he misses a lot in a bull market. He missed out on most of the obvious tech stocks of the last 2 years.
We can say that about every video we do .AP
Optimus?? Tesla !!!!
I want one ! AP
Shop for your cars at Costco and there is no haglgling
Hahaha - GC
SoFi please
Sure thing .AP
Here we go again
Let's go - GC
I was about to say the same thing.

Not even close to the most hyped stocks.
Tx for the visit - GC
it’s a car company🤧🤧 😂
Hahaha....yes it is 😂 - GC
SOFI has a lot space To run up.!!
Nice one -GC
These scammers in comments don’t get bored!!! 😅😅
Keyboard warriors 😂 - GC
Paul can you keep on doing those imitations of people for Tesla for other stocks. That was too funny.
Hahaha ! AP
Great impersonation of tech bros 🤣🤣🤣
Much appreciated ! AP
They will burn out for sure😢
And you’ll be wrong once again Paul
One love - GC

Thanks !! AP
