Oh oh, is there something I don't know about? I still have to finish the JPanther but after I'll dig in to this kit and I'll check out the issue. Thanks for the advance warning and for the awesome comment!
@@stevieRay3211 Night Shift and others built this kit 2 years ago, and unless they corrected this problem, the front glacis plate does not fit properly to the hull. If so, you'll want to address this first before putting on the small bits as Takom does. Unless your like me, get the hull and large parts together and than the small bits. Takom is a little funny in their sequence.
Thanks MB8 - we usually address fit issues in our build episodes so I can put off the pain for a little while. I'm like you - I do a lot of dry fitting before installing any detail parts to fix any potential downstream issues. Still it's great that you pointed out the trouble spot. I will say a little prayer to model gods that the issue is something we can do a Tom's World fix on. Gracias!
Thanks Ian! I sense a fellow horn sufferer. Funny that you mention that since that was the first thing I checked when considering this kit. Makes one almost long for the days of rubber band tracks! I appreciate your nice comments - always makes the day a bit brighter. Best of luck to you!
Thank-you Mr. eprohoda! Haven't seen you around these parts before but always nice to make new friends. Best of luck on your own projects and thanks for watching and for the awesome note!
Hi Tomas It is a nice kit, but the superstructure front plate is tricky to fit. I just forced mine and it ended up okay without modifications. Thanks for sharing your review ❤😊
And likewise thank-you for the note. People are sounding off on the chassis misfit so I'm interested in having a closer look once we delve into building this monster. Hopefully your build is satisfying despite the curve balls. Wouldn't be fun otherwise! Guess no one does Tamiya as good as Tamiya.
Hi Jonathan, it's always nice to read your comments and I appreciate you stopping by. Now-and-again I come across a vehicle that I've never built a model of so I thought I'd finally tackle the JTiger. It's also a fairly simple kit which means it won't take forever to build and make a video on. All the best to you and thanks again!
My man Tony De! Glad you could make roll call. The JPanther is in progress. I try to follow a pattern for each vehicle, an unboxing episode first, then a build one, then a paint and weather installment. I usual sneak in the next unboxing to tie the channel over until the painting and weathering episodes are done which take longer to produce. I should get to your JPanther very soon! Thanks again my friend!
Be on the look out on the front plate on the superstructure.

Not a vehicle or kit that floats my boat but, as ever Tom, your review of it was compelling viewing. Thank you!
