was originally gonna slam my mk4 but after coming across this video and seeing a similar jetta on the road i've officially found my new inspo. great work dude keep it up
Im in the process of building my Mk4 TDI Golf very similarly to this. What did you use for struts in the front and rear for the travel? Did you space the front struts or just get a longer travel strut with bigger springs?
I just got myself one of these mk4 Jetta TDI, less than a week into it and I already love it and already took it out to a camping trip and took it offroading, cracked the oil pan but im still having fun😂 but I got one of my buddies bring it out from the city over an hour away, changing it tmrw in the middle of nowhere as I'm typing this rn sleeping in my buddies van. But great video man, I'd like to see more content on the jetta, I plan on doing the same thing to my Jetta too, lift kit, skid plate, bumper bar, light bars and fog lights, roof rack, offroad wheels and tires, full bolt ons, stage 3 turbo and a stright pipe😁 I will also be posting much more content on my jetta so if you can Subscribe I'd really appreciate it!💯 Thanks if you read it all🙏
I only did this to my Jetta because it's all I had and I've owned it for 19 years. I don't think I'd go and purchase a FWD car to repurpose it to go off-road...just go buy something with 4WD, eh?
@@Vo0d0o2009 The mk4 City Jetta and Golf are the basic versions of the mk4. 2.0L, driver door handle same as passenger cuz it's stronger and won't break, basic brakes, etc...

LOVE the Jetta: now (0:42-0:48) you can play with it and not have to worry about the rocker panels!
I love the grill/bull guard. Can you give any points/tips on how you did it?
good lord that's an mean little car .
What tire measures does it take? And where did the front defense get it? Thank you! more videos of the jetta !!

Do you still have this car? Can we get a another video showing how the car has handled thw lift kit and off roading after a few years of use?

What’s used for lifting it?
Is Jetta better for off roading then Passat? I need a kombi body for sleeping.
What front sway bar links did you use nicely done set up
No sway front or rear
OK I just see something connected to the control arm in the pic of the video thanks for reply

What are those wheels called tho also I'm lifting my Jetta today to go drive on a dried out lake bed tomorrow so this is cool to see
Surely you have a snorkel for 0:55 your grill goes underwater!

It’s fwd or 4motion ?

😎😎😎
These are GREAT! Beat the shit out of it -- I did it to my Corolla!
Is this just a lifted fwd? Or is it more than that now?
Fwd but alot of supporting modifications
How did you get this lifted?
Is it a kit?
All custom built
you can put tiguan shock on a jetta but you will need to custumise linkage for whell tabs
Video on my channel of a different way to lift it.
This guy went all custom, I went Jeep Springs and extended shocks.
Check my page out I explain it
Hey where’d you get the grille guard? I’m going for a similar build with my mk4 golf, but I can’t seem to find the grille Garuda anywhere.
Sorta custom
@@scottrussell6210 hey where is the video filmed I live in Toronto I am looking for some cool off-road spots thanks
Alguien sabe la medida del neumatico ?
Could've got the Jetta wagon.
But why
How you lift it that much
