Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

I am from Puerto Escondido, I only hope that it does not become economically inaccessible for people with less money, this good promotion is appreciated, but I hope that it never loses its essence of simplicity. NO large commercial chains or hotel industry and the great environmental impact, Puerto is already close to reaching its limit

@@tzarate2919 de dónde eres, si en puerto y cerca de el venden muchos terrenos, depende la zona, hay de 180mil, 200mil y de ahí para arriba

We live in Puerto Aventuras, between Playa del Carmen and Akumal and are planning to move elsewhere after 8 years of being here. This was very helpful. Thank you. Well done.
Puerto is a great place to make friends from all over the globe. It's my favorite place ever! Just a piece of advice: avoid walking late at night in the streets of La Punta and Carrizalillo, there are way too many wild dogs. Almost every time I tried to save some cab money by walking on the beach from Zicatela to La Punta, I almost got attacked. I found out that it's safer to walk along the main road (AKA the highway).

Thank you so much for the great vlog! Have spent the last 2 Winters in Puerto and will return early next year. Love it there! You covered SO much and did a great job! Good to mention the Benito Juarez mercado and Zicatela mercado for good food options if you’re doing local cooking. We are elders, so didn’t do a lot of La Punta visits, although enjoyed a few spots there. We stayed near Rinconada and then a month down at Costa Cumaná which is beautiful! We love Puerto Angel as well for a good swimming/locals beach...

For the typical oxacan food you should go to la juquileña, its in the centro zone and the locals love it, its also the cheapest meal ive ever had in my life

Thank you for your attention to detail. I plan to start "slow travel" Mexico after the first of the year. I had planned to start in Oaxaca, and travel the Colonial Cities, but your video has changed my mind where I will now also travel to Puerto Escondido, and spend a couple of months in that area.
