Man, I love the dandy's, but that backin vocalist is essential to the dandy sound. I mean we all know how great Courtney is, but a great band is the sum of its parts, right. A great band doesnt rely solely on just having great musicians, In fact great musicians can become a pain when dealing with egos. I think the magic is Courtney knowing what it takes to have a great band and writing kick ass songs on top of everything. Ive been trying for years to form a great band where all members are synced, cool, not overly good. Never happened. A great band like the Beatles, Dandy's, Stones, is something rare and special.
True. Brent does excellent backing vocals, and he also plays other instruments than the drums. Great band, and a big inspiraton for me personally, as a musician.
Love the song (and the keyboard player!). Although I must say, it doesn't work very well in a large outdoor arena. Anyway, I hear a lot of Stones here, with a sprinkling of Smash Mouth. ;-)
Slower tempo and guitars out of tune...it sounds bad...a certain lack of energy...😂 it's indie Rock, no one gives a fuck ! Play sober and clean, what for ? 😂
