He wants people to believe that the game "dropped his input" when fundamentally speaking that couldn't be more factually incorrect. If you did the input properly, the game would respond in turn.
DSP thinks that Lily's wind is a permanent buff that improves her moves, but it's not. If she uses a special move, it runs out, and you have to use your wind buff again. DSP was so busy hitting immobile training dummies that he forgot to improve on his basic fundamentals. Absolute scrub.

You gouted dunce, offline you're fighting training dummy AI that doesn't fight back and obediently waits for you to hit them. DSP said Lily is "arguably one of the hardest characters to play I've ever played in Street Fighter" when even Capcom says she's Easy to play. This after he said he pressed jab first when he landed way after Guile landed and hit him with a meaty jab. He really is just built different.

One thing I realized seeing him play multiple fighting games is 1. He always takes character that are either slow/strong (Which all are stong muscly guys andfrom most of the videos I've seen of him playing he is either : Blanka, JP, Honda and prolly more I missed) never a fast character which of course makes him getting bodied due to his character slowness and his reaction time. 2. He never takes a female character and 3. And if he takes a different character and/or female character, it's usually either the main character (Ryu for exemple) or the most normal female one from his POV (Chun-Li) other than that there's of course all the excuses he makes while playing.
also those slow characters need to be very precise with their moves. At least that is how it works in smash, dunno about sf. Fast characters can recover from mistakes faster.

Of course fast characters counters strong/slow characters naturally and while playing one it's best to either bait or counter a fast character to then punish them with a high damage combo. I'm not even that much into fighting game, only playing with friends or either story mode so I don't know much technical terms of fighting games but even I know about strengths and weakness from character types.

Nothing he can do? JP's projectile grab cant grab you in the air. Lily can Condor Spire and dive right through it. As much as he doesnt want to be the "this is how you dont play" guy. I have played guitar for 15 years now. I also had a drinking problem. My motor skills were getting bad enough that I was unable to play a lot of the songs I grew-up with. Once you notice this you can't stop noticing it every time he talks, it's like he literally doesn't know that some moves have worse/better frame data.

A gamer who never loses, can play any SF on a superior level, and his reputation can’t take any less than perfection? For a ex pro fighitng game player, he cant tell some slow normals lose to grab even on blockstun (even so he argues he was in the middle of a combo), claims to lose when he jab first when his opponen't landed first, thus having priority. Phil always have complains no matter what characters he plays, ignores the pros of the character but complains for even the smallest con ever.

He had little bit of success over 20 years ago because the skill ceiling was so much lower than today - it's like night and day. Now in the age of e-sports the skill ceiling in every game is massively higher. He was never a good player, it's just that he came into the scene so early that there were less skilled players then. Only thing he really had/has is his +10 luck stat. 😂😂
