TH-cam suggested I watch this a few times, so I clicked to see. Welcome to the platform. There's no such thing as a perfect video, you just gotta start.
Hey Hannah, Liz here in rural Germany. I am a bit older than you, a mum of many and a maker of things. I subscribed for a couple reasons. One, you are genuine and honest. This is a good trait to have when pursuing this platform. Do not strive for perfection, keep going for real and earthy and true. The world is full of fakes. You seem like a good egg. 🙂do not delete this video!
I haven't even started making on camera videos so you are way ahead of me! As far as videos that I watch I love the videos where people share experiences from their past. The experiences that taught them something about life. I read some advice that I love, the person said...create videos as if you are teaching your younger self about something your more experienced self has learned. The camera being younger you. Talk to the camera as if it is actually you when you were younger. Not sure if that helps but that's going to be my approach when I start making videos. I hope you keep going!
There is no shame or cringe in the recognition that you are holding yourself back. It something that I have struggled with when it comes to making videos since I started this channel back in 2015. Even after making a video or two saying to just do it, just release a video, I find myself not taking my own advice. You took the first step, just keep moving forward. Also, you have some amazing natural backdrops for your videos!
My algorithm must know I love brown eyes and great smiles because that's what I got here. I hope you can find fulfillment on your journey moving forward with these videos and your mental health. Have a good life.
I had a TH-cam channel and I did whatever I wanted - with no care what anyone else thought. It was cathartic and a great learning experience. Good video kiddo.
We're all just trying to find ways to preoccupy our time on this planet, and we've let powers to be (consumerism, materialism) dictate a lot of that. Once you get past that, you can preoccupy your time the way you want instead of the way others want you to.
If you want to know what you should do, just let time and the situation etc., tell you. Commence something and if it's not a succes, try something else. E.g. in my case, tables turn all the time during my life: I have studied geology in the past, but now I'm an IT guy testing 'random' webpages (nothing with geology). Oh yeah, I'm also a maintenace electrician and at another time I have done orderpicking for a living. No idea what will be my position in 5 years, ... if I will still be alive by then. 😅
I can't stand "perfect" videos, especially not those of a personal nature, like this. I prefer the filming to be a reflection of the person's nature...if you lead a messy life, I'd expect a messy video; it feels much more authentic that way. I click off of any video that lacks a human(imperfect) feel to it.

Not sure why this was recommended, but yea, I'm 35 and I have NO idea what I'm doing either. None of us do.
Beautiful Mountain Landscape, love it!
Never wait for perfect, ever! Good luck, love the scenery in Wyoming.

Hannah, just wanted to say, the ONLY prerequisite there is to what you are going to do is that you MUST LIKE IT!
Your first bunch of videos might not be spectacular. Might not make sense.
But keep going at it. See what happens.

My early 20s was like this. In a Limbo for way too long. Only really figured out who I was until 29. 🤷♂️
Cute (nice music too)
