this was my first gopro and from that got me into professional photography and videography for over a decade. I've since grown out of that phase of my life but still appreciate where this little camera got me and the adventures and skilling up that came with it.

+Esa Lerssi I spend days upon days editing my video and it still doesn't look this good. It probably comes down to preparation(before filming) and having professional cameramen actually do the filming for you.
But whats weird is that these clips are in wide angle, and how is it possible to get this kind of quality, it looks like they use 4K quality, but they still have a lot of frames per second...
Been watched A LOT of GoPro videos,this one is still my favorite in the end of 2018 The music is great and the images are mostly formed by EVENT instead of PEOPLE. I don’t know know how many times I’ve watched this, but hero3+ was my dream action camera back when I was in college. After graduating and being finally able to work, I finally saved up and bought my first ever GoPro, Hero 5… but after 4 years of having it idk what happened, first the screen went black and now, it won’t open. I’ve tried everything but still nothing. Now, I’m rewatching this and reliving the feeling of wanting to own a GoPro once again. Hope I could still save up for a new one since I have too many bills now. Hahaha. I miss being young and having simple dreams :)
People don't understand how these shots are so stable but when they buy a GoPro camera they realize they can't make stable shots like these without image stabilizer...
I agree - invest in a gyroscope if you want to do action shots. Jumping out of planes, skiing off cliffs is bound to bring excessive unwanted motion in the footage. Get a gyro. (sorry forgotten what the gadget is called - uses gyros to stabilize the image)
This video (along with GoPro‘s other videos at the time) was a big part of why I took up skydiving 9 years ago. Still as inspirational as back then, love it.

Youd be amazed at what medium or narrow field of view does to the image quality of a gopro, it makes it look more like a "real" camera.
