That's a dramatic decrease in volume. I just wrapped my 8" Delkavic slip-on and it made a nice difference where I was trying to get rid of the harsh tone when opening up the throttle. It worked. I was too cheap to buy the nice fiberglass wrap that you had so I opted to cut a piece of a fiberglass welding blanket I had laying around.

Now you have increased the back pressure, do you have power commander to adjust your air/fuel mix? I would get an exhaust back pressure gauge and make sure im in the green, if not you'll burn your valves and get an unexpected engine cease with no warning.😮

There's a little Allen key bolt on the underside, covered by a rubber grommet. Remove that bolt then it should slide out

Hey thanks for watching. Haven't noticed any issues, but only done around 100 miles since doing the mod. Seems like a common thing to do so not worried. Overall I'm just very happy with reducing volume but keeping a low tone

Where do you get the baffle wrap from? And also which model is the quieter bw exhaust I need for mine?
Also what db was the stock exhaust out of interest?

Hi, I bought the baffle wrap from eBay, cost about £10 and got loads left over. The larger and quieter exhaust I have is the 300ST, it's perfect for me. Unfortunately I didn't test DB readings of the stock exhaust, but it should be on your nearside front fork from the factory

That won't work, what the heck. You closed off everything. Your packing will not stay in it blow all over.

Seems to have worked ok, still in there and doing it's job. A bit of experimentation for sure, but I'm happy with it
