What an absolutely phenomenal and perfect performance of this wonderful symphony performed by these incredible youngsters and conducted by a gifted and talented conductor, Bravo !!!!! If this was done in front of a live audience, they would have gotten a roaring standing ovation for sure !!!!!
Imagine the thousands of hours of practicing these youngsters have done to become this proficient with their instruments. I find it thrilling that young people care this much about this stunning music we love. We are all blessed!
An excellent performance (including all repeats)! And it was a joy to see these young people not only playing so well but clearly enjoying their music-making.
Hier geht einem das Herz auf, sieht man doch, wie von der Jugend Beethoven mit einer Begeisterung gespielt wird, da erscheint einem, Pardon, das andere "Jubiläumskonzert" in Bonn doch verhalten, auch wenn der Bundespräsident dort gesprochen hat und dieses Orchester auch eine besondere Bedeutung hat. Verdient hätte es auch dieses Bundesjugendorchester! Sehet hin, wie sie alle mit einer Begeisterung spielen, da geht einem das Herz auf. Glückwunsch!
Love the little grins the second chair 1st violin gives the concertmaster several times and the clarity of the woodwind playing as well as the enthusiasm and musicianship of the ensemble as a whole. And it is clear that Jarvi is enjoying them as well!!! Fun to hear and watch!!!
Es ist interessant, das Ergebnis des Dirigats von Järvi mit dem von Petrenko zu vergleichen. Petrenko hat haerter gearbeitet, im Konzert wurden seine Ideen aber nicht realisiert. Järvi nimmt es lockerer, es macht Spass mit ihm, aber er fordert auch nicht alles. Am besten war das Konzert von Metzmacher mit Strauss und Varese. Der zeigte beides : Kapellmeister und Freudenmensch.
