For me, it’s simple. Fern uploads, I watch. Love the monthly videos, but I don’t even check the titles anymore I just love your style. 😂
Same here!!! ❤
Same!😂😂😂
Haha! Facts! Same here 😀
Yeah same here! 😃
We are simple people
Do a monthly unfavorites aka plants that made you mad, plants you’d never buy again, products that didn’t work, etc. I think that would be so fun!
Also, I LOVE your monthly favorites!
Love this idea’ because we all know we make that purchase and it comes in and we’re like ohhhh heck no 😅😅😅and even the fertilizer foliage pro every influencer loves I don’t see the hype ?! I got no results , switched back to GT and my plant exploded again. So I’d love to hear ferns unfavs
I'd like to see that also!
Maybe we can have an alternating schedule between favorites and unfavorites? 😊
😂 love this
This is a hilarious idea!
Monthly favourites is how we get to see your plants up close. If you are considering ending the monthly updates, maybe do one every season? I prefer monthly updates because one always have new developments in a plant collection, and it helps us follow yours. Plus you talk about what you've been doing with the plants and what has worked, which is very informative.
Please keep making these! I love seeing the progress of your favorites :)
I like monthly favorite videos! Because we get one every month!
Please please don’t stop making your favorites videos. They are some of my favorites. Its so fun to watch you gosh over your plants 💚
I bet for you also it’s beneficial to have the videos documenting the changes happening in your collection over time 😊
"I frikken love cilantro". That part was unexpected and made me chuckle. 🤭 love the vids!
That plant with the leopard spots is commonly known as a Silver Squill. By the way, I still like watching favorites videos. 😊
I love watching your favorites videos! Please don't stop making them. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful plants with us.
PS: Your hair is getting so long! So pretty. Brightest blessing to all of you 💕
LOVE your monthly favorites!
Love hearing updates and just all the plant talk in general🥰
And LOVE LOVE LOVE when you make long videos!! They are my favorite🥰
I personally love favorites videos! I think they’re a great opportunity To showcase plant babies that we don’t always get to see 😊
Long videos are good too 😉
your monthly favorites are actually my most favorite type of videos from you! love them
I can literally see you in a couple years having just an entire collection of begonias 😂😂💕💕
These are some of my favorite videos! I like seeing updates on the ones that are flourishing :)
I honestly love your monthly favorites! Please dont stop making them!
I love the long videos! I listen/watch while I’m watering my plants 🪴
Hi! Pls don’t stop the favourites, you are one of the few you tubers whose ‘favourites’ videos I look forward to! Keep up the great content😊🇨🇦
Fern, I genuinely enjoy any video you put out, if it's on your main or vlog channel. You have such a nice calming aura, that I will honestly cozy up at any video you upload lol
Your plants are so happy in your new house! Just think of what the will become!❤
I love the favorites videos! It’s a fun way to spotlight specific plants.
That silver squill (Ledebouria) is a really fun easy plant. If you put it in a much bigger pot than it needs and give it some light it will fill it out so quickly and look nice and lush! It’s easy to propagate by division and is a great planty gift since it’s pretty indestructible 😊
I love monthly favorites!! My favorite kind of videos because I get to discover new plants! 💖
I have been loving haworthias recently, too! that little window is such a cool adaptation and makes them look so pretty in the sun or right after watering. I keep mine in pumice and they have grown so much this summer! I have a cooperii and a cymbiformis variegata as well as tons of little seedlings as I got seeds as a gift from the etsy shop I ordered from. Your variegated one looks super pretty!
I love your favorites videos! You always give so much information and your love and enthusiasm for your plants just shines through.
Tbh i don't care too much about the favourites but i enjoy it so much when u just show all kinds of plants into the camera and talk about it💖
Second comment: the sharoniae looks STUNNING. Glad she’s looking swell.
it's great how excited you are about your plants fern! I'm celebrating it! But I still like your chilled and chatty videos even more 🙈❤
Omg how you can said that, I love to see your monthly ones they are amazing and keep me always updated we my own always love what you do with your plants 🥰🥰🍀🌿☘️🌱
I do really enjoy your favourites videos - whenever I see a plant I also have, they remind me what magnificent specimens most of them could be if I gave them that extra care. My most favourite videos are before/afters, wishlists (yours are always reasonable and well thought through) and tours. I enjoy the longer format videos- I like to play them while I'm watering or repotting
Your monthly favorites are my faves! Dont stop!!
In general I don’t watch other planty TH-camrs monthly favorites anymore as yours is the only one I want to see! I kinda feel that the Alocasia odora’s newest leaf was its way of showing the milk confetti that thrips ain’t gonna bring him down!
That narrow is goals! Mine is finally putting out huge leaves! Pole really levels it up! 🔥
That first begonia is stunning. Love the color. It looks like it’s almost see through because the back seems to be showing through the front. 😊😊😊
Add a cutting of pothos to the maranta!!!! It helps!❤❤❤
Thanks for being so open and transparent and for always sharing. I just wanted to say that I absolutely love your videos! So don't worry about those who can't handle any length of your videos. I can't wait for the next uploads. Until then, I'll enjoy your older ones.
Who’s here from when fern was debating on chopping up her syn. Albo ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m so obsessed with your new plant shelf setup!! If only my apartment wasn’t so small!
I absolutely love the configuration you did with the shelves 🥰
All very beautiful plants!
💚🌵☘️🌱💚
Never stop making favorites video. I enjoy your content so much I would watch you blow your nose for an hour!
I love your favorite videos, they really help me reflect on my own collection and what's catching my eye.
I like fav of the month videos. More like a plant update of favorites but also of the ones doing amazing
The Ledebouria Socialis is also called Silver Squill or Leopard Lily. The bulbs have to be kept mostly above the soil line. You break a bulb off to propagate them. Mine is huge.
Love all your videos. Keep doing monthly favorites! My favorite videos are your collection videos where you rate them and your update videos showing the progress💚
Thank you so much, Fern! It's always interesting to see what's new and how your plants feel. And I love watching your videos and repot my plants at this time. 🌺🌿🌿
Yes, you should definitely keep doing favorite videos 😊
I just enjoy all the videos you make Fern. Regardless of the topic 💚
The last cane begonia you showed is, I believe, Begonia lucerna. I have one that I got as a barely rooted short little cutting from a friend back in April, and it TOOK OFF. I’ve already cut it down once because it was getting big, and it’s already huge again. It’s also super easy. The friend I got it from had gotten it before she was very successful with plants, and it grew like wildfire for her, too.
Love monthly favorites, seeing you excited gets me excited about stuff in my plants as well.
The bulb one is also called a silver squall. I have one. It has been easy to grow and it does come from bulbs!
I would like to see an in-depth focus on one plant. It’s requirement as far as light, fertilizing, rate of growth and final adult size. Just throwing this idea out there. Love your favorite videos. Don’t stop.
I always love watching your favorites videos, i think it honestly helps me appreciate my plants as well! You have all the good vibes :)
Lol the first time I tried rooting maranta it shriveled up, and then I saw you rooting some and tried again and they rooted so fast! I wonder why some will root and some won't, it's so weird!
I love monthly favorite videos!
But I love all of your videos. 💚
I love the favourites, it helps me stop and appreciate the plants I already have, instead of looking for more. Also, someone else said about doing an ‘unfavourites’ video and that sounds fun too!
I am loving all of these plants. They're all so beautiful. 🌿✨💚✨
I LOVE the long videos. And your plants just make me smile.
Yeah I just watch every video you upload lol. favorites, updates, chores….bring it on!
I remember when your exotica was just a few leaves for what felt like years! So nice to see it exploding now!
Definitely keep the favorites! It’s always interesting to see the reasons, and also highlight some great plants that we don’t always see so much of
And ALSO: will never complain about the long vids, I love them so much!! You’ve been blessing us with them lately
Fern, I love and watch all of your videos! I really enjoy monthly favorites and annual updates.
i will watch ANYTHING you post, but your favorite's are one of my favorite videos you make. love the idea of a unfavorites video like one of the other comments said as well
I love your “favorites” videos! Any excuse to see you show off some beautiful plants that are making you happy ❤
I still love monthly favorites, maybe even more than chatty plant chores cuz it’s more structured and I get to add new planrs on my wishlist 🥰
Omg love a local trade 😍🏝️ the new leaf on the variegated Micans turned out so incredibly beautiful!
Monthly favourites are one of my favourite type of videos, so if it is still enjoyable for you to make, please continue ❤️
It’s super fun to see your new plants and you just helped me identify one that I’ve had for quite a while that no one seems to know the name of: the Ledebouria Socialis! Thanks for this.🌿🌸✌🏻🌞
I am obsessing over the bushy v.Syngonium! I will be adding it to my wishlist too!
I fricken love fav videos! They’re genuinely some of my fav planty vids to watch.
I like the monthly favorites. It’s kinda of cool to hear someone talk about how they have the “always” favorites and the I didn’t appreciate it until ____ and now I love it 😅. Glad to know I’m not the only one.
I love the monthly fave videos!!
loving the longer videos!!
the favourites videos are also fun to watch, and also inspires me to dive into some of the plants you mentioned! LOVING THE P. NARROW!
the plant shelf looks amazing btw! very well done setup
💚
I enjoy all of your videos, regardless of what they're about. Even when you cook on your other channel, I'm not vegan but I watch because the vibes are always so chill.
Love your favorites, they let me know what I might want to keep an eye out for and I just love seeing your plant journey
Loved this! Took me a few days to get through as I've been busy but I always watch to the very end. Love seeing how your favourites change month to month so please don't stop making these! The haul at the end was super cute too, you and your insane collection of plants ❤❤
I ❤ all your favorites!!! Please continue 🪴
The new plant setup looks amazing! Love your videos so much fern
I am also curious about those little packets hanging from you plants! Excited to hear more about them! They sound like they could be a good addition to my plant care routine as well.
Yay! Something to watch during my break 😁🌿
Umm Fern you could post anything and I’d still watch. Yes keep the favorites coming!
don't lose hope for your Maranta! I gave a friend a cutting 4+ months ago and only about 2-3 weeks ago there were some tiny roots visible (propagating in water). Mine have always rooted best in plain water or perlite x
I got a halo variegated micans a few months ago, and the variegation is so interesting. The leaves are a bit wonky but I love it. And it varies from a white stripe on the edges to some half moon, and everything in between! I love it!!!
You are precious and all of your plants also! Keep making the long ones I stayed to the end
All your plants are my favorite, Fern! 🥰🪴
Fern!!! You did such a perfect job on your shelving!! Update / hang with me chatty - are seriously my favvvv kind of video!!!❤❤❤❤
I love the favorites videos! Please don't stop doing them 🌱❤
Thank you for reminding me that i shoved my new syngonium confetti into a box full of my favourite plants without treating it for pests first 🙃 this video and the one about your beneficial mite routine came at the perfect time for me 😂❤
Fern I think you should make yourself a begonia terrarium I think that would be so cool! And also make a video while you're doing it so everyone can see and enjoy it I love watching her videos love love love watching your videos
I love your monthly favourites I look forward to them ♥️
32:30 a silver quill! 🥰
Also hear it called leopard Lily
I love the monthly favorite videos!
Love all your videos! And love your bushy trailing plants!
Hi Fern, This is Will, loved the video your energy was wonderful and brightened my day. I just picked up a Billitae , Alocasia Bisma, painted lady and summer glory. All the best thanks was able to repot and watch your video. it turned out to be a good day. Thanks again for the excellent video!
We love monthly favorites!! Continue doing them please 🙏🏼
I liked your chill video. You do what you need for you. Your plants are beautiful.
I totally love favorites videos!
Monthly favorites vids are my favorite !
Amazing lighting tbh. Love the choclatey Anthurium.
Here for the favorutes videos!
I have had the same experience with the exotica. I just kept half killing mine and having to chop and restart it. And now randomly after restarting it like three times it is thriving. I don’t think I even changed anything! But I’m very happy about it finally enjoying life
You can actually propagate pinguicula super easy from leaves if you pull them off the base of the rosette. I’ve done a ton of props from mine. Just throw them on a damp paper towel or pinguicula soil and keep them in high light and humidity. They will almost certainly form baby plants. Some will even grow multiple. If your interested I actually have some tangerine laueana plantlets if you are interested in a trade.
I watch all your videos! I love that your into begonias and carnivorous plants ❤
Loved the video as always! xo. I kinda have two ideas for videos I don't know if you are interested or already thought about it but in your chatty repot video you talked a bit about soil conditions and how you think more critically about what plants you put in which soil. a very detailed informative video about which plants to put in which kind of soil and also the reasons why would be SO HELPFUL! because I am still not quite sure which plants use rather fine or coarse soils so yeah that would be really cool!
My second idea would be to make like a "emergency plan/instruction video: what to do when you loose a plant!" and then just give some information what you do when you see one of your plants dying (also in regards of species maybe). I came back from my holiday and my Alocasia Azlanii lost all of her leaves because she was underwatered. I have no idea what I should do with the plant without leaves now. Just leave it in the soil? Or put it in spaghnum until she gets leaves again? That would be agreat video. Lots of love 💗💕
POV : Its Lunch break. I walk out to my car (where I hide during lunch) and I think k to myself "I sure would like to just watch some Ferny Fern". Yes... I thought that! 😂 and then I checked and you had posted 7 minutes earlier. ❤ I love all your planty videos!
