I did a wow count for the game store in Switzerland. You guys said wow 39 times. This should become an award system. Shops should have badges outside saying something like "this store got 30 Wows from Ed's Retro Geekout".
Bad Taste tee - nice! What a wild movie, lol. That Swiss video game shop... I mean, wow! Awesome inventory but the presentation was next level. Carded Q-Bert and sealed Donkey Kong board game + sneaky shelf of Game & Watch handhelds in Italy 😍 No matter how many times I go to Europe, my Aussie brain just can't process driving through three countries in a day. DRIVING😲😆
Hi Ed! Another Amazing Adventures from France, Swiss and Italy!!! Totally Freaking Awesome and Epic!!! Not only I'm a Huge Fan of Toys New and Vintage, but also a Huge Fan of Retro & New Video Games as well! Excellent Video once again, Buddy! 😎👌😁👍👍
Could have easily spent the entire family budget. The wife wouldn't mind as long as she got the power showerhead, lol But seriously, that shop in Basel is absolutely sick, an actual time machine. Crazy.
@EdsRetroGeekOut have you checked out the GameStop's in the States? They went retro . Personally I haven't gone to one but they recently transformed to that
Probably one of your best videos guys! And still TOYS to come! I did wonder how many of the games you would play or just collect, especially because of region locked stuff. Maybe you have that figured out?
@@EdsRetroGeekOut I'm much more a movie guy, learning Japanese because all my interest go together! I'm all about the picture quality and premium stuff like blu ray on my 4K setup! I'm sure you guys would love figures from things like Tekkaman Blade and Guyver! I've also got a pair of figures coming from the new series, Dandadan! It's visually stunning and a lot of fun! And my Japanese means I can import the blu rays from Japan for that premium feel and NO forced subs like might be on American discs! Thanks, so nice to hear from you!
It's funny seeing all those vintage games. It's not really my thing, some people want the physical games and some people are ok with roms. There is one game I want, Dragon Quest 4 for NES because it is the first game I ever beat.
Spread the word around Guess who's back in town? You spread the word around .... The boys are back in town, the boys are back in town l said, the boys are back in town. : }
The voice over audio was really muted for me, I didn't even realise that it was happening at first. Was it just me? Looking forward to the rest if the road trip.

The store in Switzerland is absolutely incredible.
It’s a hidden treasure for sure 🤓
I remember those Game Boy display cabinets from when I was a kid. Simpler times back then.
It was so high tech looking as a kid back in the day the video game section of the toy store looked like the future 😁

Probably one of your best videos guys! And still TOYS to come! I did wonder how many of the games you would play or just collect, especially because of region locked stuff. Maybe you have that figured out?
There’s a lotta ways to unlock em or just not have it be a problem anymore 🤓Did you collect retro games?

I always thought those Nintendo trophies were the coolest things. I just wish they had continued to cover more games!
Indeed, apparently they surfed the discount aisles for a very long time. It didn’t match up with the buyers expectations I think.
That Nintendo merchandise and promotional stuff was crazy they looked new 😅 . I saw a boxed asterix nes i am currently after .
Awesome video
Looks like some cool shops
Hello from the West Coast of Canada
Name: Stephen
Thanks buddy
Should have gotten that Nintendo blanket. Aside from being cool, you can wrap your toy purchases in it.
Indeed I feel like matti might go back for it 😏
Going through France, Switzerland and Italy? You shoulda taken the GI Joe Alpine!
Or the tomahawk 😅
It's funny seeing all those vintage games. It's not really my thing, some people want the physical games and some people are ok with roms. There is one game I want, Dragon Quest 4 for NES because it is the first game I ever beat.
The DQ games on NES are a lotta work but fun 😁
@edsretrogeekout what is the archangel shirt you are wearing? Mike Mignola art?
