Once you have collected 30 medals you get access to the gratitude store. You might be able to use it before you beat the main story, not sure yet but will keep an eye out. The best part is that you can spend all the useless extra left over gratitude on the story islands in the gratitude store once its unlocked and buy as much of anything you have listed in your buildapedia. For anyone that wants to do things glitchfree its worth getting all the medals you can, even to completing as many workboard requests on builders island you can to boost your medal count early in your game.

The thing for me is that I love building in this game and every time I leave an island, I start building in there on the current theme(like the first one was farms, the second desert, etc.), so I usually never progress till I am satisfied with my build lol so I never knew that existed. Hm, not sure then. I got the unlock first time after the main story was done. I restarted as I was not happy with my builds and wanted to hand character a bit to have a OC rather than a self insert char so I will be checking. I have a feeling it might have been 30 tablet medal's actually because I kinda rushed my first playthru and didn't do everything in the zone goals. (So sick of being hungry lol I miss the accessory that stopped your hunger. So sick of their "build it small!" mentality too lol)
Can someone explain to me how it was a glitch in DQ2? Every time I look it up all I find is the cursed item/cleanse glitch, which doesn't seem to involve a falcon blade at all. Sorry, but the first DQ game I played was 4, my cos was the one who started with Warrior 2/3.
I'm surprised it doesn't actually crash the game when it tries to remove the now non-existent materials from the now non-existent wardrobe. The bug is a common oversight of performing certain actions at the wrong time - in this case, it seems to be checking if you have the materials when you open the dialog box rather than when you confirm the purchase.
This is going to be so helpfull Ben for certain farming, I'm working on terraforming my island overtime as well, finishing Moonbrooke story today hopefully. I'll post screens in ya discord when the island really starts getting built, after I beat the story of course. Always find your vids and such helpfull and glad your doing another series of lets plays on the finally released english version ^__^
You're very welcome though it has been fixed by now... You could still duplicate items with the multiplayer glitch though, or try the unlimited seeds glitch and then transform them to white dyes.

This no longer works as of today’s update. When you go to make the item, it says “not enough materials”. Was working yesterday before the update. Glad I got lots of worm food yesterday, but kicking myself for putting off making my blocks.

Somethings btw I found out after finishing the game The Aurora Sword you craft with Mythril increases the chance that monster drop items You can use the flute to find alle the items on the material maps (I did not know this and searched for hours for a specific tree)
The food quality does not only change the LP Bonus also the other bonus like bonus attack it gives is stronger still the food you craft in the Malhalla Map gives you the strongest Attack Boost. In general Meat-> Attack Boost, Sea Food -> Defense Boost, Mushrooms -> Destruction Boost, and the Mining Village drinks give a stamina boost. The boost depends on the quality of the meal
Just wanted to share this here because I could not find this informations anywhere and it was really helpful for me Also never forget you can build basically in every thougher fight so if you have them build traps to wear the boss down. Even if you equipment is not at a point where you should be able to beat the monster easily this makes it easy / easier

Do you mean for the crop seeds or is there a different exploit I haven't heard of, I'm pretty sure the killing machine multiplying seeds is intentional since hunting for actual crop seeds can be a hassle
sadly this is impossible to use on the final story island. You cant duplicate the Builder bell materials with this or the fully crafted bell with the chest/placement glitch as you (1) cant craft the bell until through the portal, (2) have to place the bell to make a 'chest' (plus there are none on the map to start with), and (3) dont have access to wrecking balls until you've already used the bell to upgrade your 'town'

I noticed that during battle if your base gets destroyed and you pick up the blocks or furniture or whatever. The villagers will rebuild the base and you will still have the items in your inventory. Idk if it work for everything though cuz i havent really tested it out.
I made 1 nightlight and used the other glitch to dupe the item. place it in a chest and made a small wall so when i turned right i placed it on the wall. duping it.
This should be the dragonbane (blade?) you get it from a mini-boss on the island (watch my "mini-boss monster in chapter 2"-video for that if you have problems finding them) :)

You can clone the seeds, so infinite crops are possible without this bug. Anyways, i am currently using this bug to get golden blocks for the golden bar on my island.
I'd guess it's the store item and use item glitch. Basically, you go to a place that you can use the item, put a chest down, then use the stow item command (put the item in the chest without opening the chest's menu) and while your character is going through the animation of putting the item, in the chest, you quickly mash the stick and the use item button towards the place that the item could be used. So in this case, you go to a piece of tilled soil, put a chest down next to it, get as close to the soil as you can while still being able to see the prompt to "Stow" the seed in the chest, press the button to Stow it, then mash your stick towards the tilled soil while also mashing the "plant seed" button. If it works, you'll plant the seed for free after putting the seed in the chest. Then you can just hammer the planted seed to get it back and you'll now have two seeds.
Either I’m doing this wrong or it must’ve gotten patched.. playing on version 1.6.1. Each time I’ve tried using this exploit, as I’m in the crafting animation and the bomb goes off, blows up and cancels the animation. 😔🤔

jaime zajara I had this problem as well. It turned out I had to make space ... well like more space behind the items for the seller to stand and also that I had to sell books because they sell very fast. Hope this works it has been working really well for me. :-)
This glitch is patched, iv tried a number of times & it doesnt work. Just a little tip, you may want to update your videos saying what ver. Of the game is & if its patched or not

the Gold robe wizards drop a lot of cotton the second to the last Island fair warning they cost 3k of appreciation each and you have to beat the game.

Dragon quest builders has the most op glitches. First the best weapon then the seeds of life and now this

Go to material island Sunny Sands and defeat the copper golem and he might drop one. That's how I got mine.
