Seeing merg finally use the sawblades close to their full potential brought an evil grin across my face.

@@retribusion Thing about ultrakill is that you can visibly see yourself improve. Especially in P-1. Not to say P ranking it is easy, but it is certainly something any player can do with enough patience and practice.
@@OfficialBongbong yes, it took me 159 restarts to beat minos for the first time yet after having defeated him it took me less than 10 tries to p-rank him

Not hearing merg speak is the scariest part of his videos! It really shows us the point of him actually wanting to beat something really challenging.
Now this may have been challenging to master but Prime Sanctum 2 is the real pain. One of the hardest challenges I've seen in a video game.

When i p-ranked this, i had the feeling that maybe i didn't suck at videogames as much as i usually think. Thay feeling is now completely destroyed togheter with Minos as Merg proceeded to p-rank minos even before p-ranking act 2. Jokes aside, congrats Merg! You are really good at this. Can't wait for the act 2 p-ranks and then eventually p-2 (especially p-2, an even greater surprise than p-1 awaits you there)

Actually I don't think he will, no hit ultrakill is very different to no hit Undertale, beating the bosses is easier, but no hit ultrakill is insanely precise and by no means easy.
Edit: Also, I don't mean merg can't do it eventually, it just mean it is just frustrating and not fun at all because the bosses weren't really meant for no hits, even though the players do it anyways.

One must imagine merg not needing to perfect the hardest fight in every game he plays
This is basically ultrakill's version of no hit
Man, that was incredibly clean for a first time P-rank. I remember I struggled a lot to deal good damage to the Flesh Prison back then (partly because back in my day, we didn't have those fancy sawblades you kids like so much!), which caused me to lose a couple runs to the ASS rating. In the end I barely managed to get it with a time of about 3:20.
Parrying the blue orbs deals loads of damage thats how i P ranked minos before even starting act 2 (i am a tryhard completionist and will not continue till i have P ranked the level im on)
Now Good luck P ranking all of act 2, there is another Prime Sanctum

To defy his might is to invite the horrific end that no hell could match.
They will laugh no more when they hear not but quiet, and realise in horror, that silent Merg is at their door... and only the best of scores will do...

I’ve found that the most consistent way to kill Flesh Prison is by:
1. Using a core nuke at the beginning to kill all of the eyes.
Shoot the core while the eyes start spawning and nuke it before all the eyes spawn. This will leave usually between 1 - 3 eyes which can easily be taken out with the marksman and unlike if you did it after all the eyes have spawned, it leaves the Flesh Prisons regen bar full so you have more time to deal damage.
2. After shooting saws, alternate between the two shotguns and parry their shots.
I have no idea why but this does so so much damage and almost allows you to kill it before it can even spawn a second set of eyes.
I’ve got no advice for Minos since you beat him way faster than I ever have lol but damn this is good
