I love going to nurseries or orchid shows to buy beautiful, fancy ($$$) orchids, but I love going to find bag babies!!

I definitely look at new growth and take a peek at the roots when I can. Of course I look at the tag and Google right on the spot and of course, if there are any markings on the leaves that are suspicious I drop it really fast. So good to hear from you William!

It depends on what they are in. Most are in bark so approximately every 5 days they dry out. The ones in lava will dry out quicker so I water like twice a week.
I'm impatiently waiting for my local stores to get them in stock again. The only con I can think of is that the box stores often don't take care of them, and the mesh bags make it hard to see if the roots are healthy.
After watching this video the other day, I had to stop by Lowe’s and buy an orchid. It wasn’t necessarily a bag baby though, because it was in a pot. And it was not from BetterGro, but rather H&R Nurseries in Hawaii

I heard that you can talk to the manager and ask for them to consider adding those to the orders and they do.
