Star Wars Rogue Squadron (N64): Mission 19: Battle of Hoth - Gold Medal

A straightforward one :)
High requirements, but a very easy and fun mission :)
Kill the probe droids with single shots in the interests of accuracy which is high, try and get most of them instead of your wingmen getting them
There are 2 AT-STs to take out before you reach the AT-ATs, then 3 escorting the AT-ATs, ensure you get all these before tripping the final AT-AT at the latest
Use the technique discussed in previous videos to wrap up the AT-ATs quickly, which is important for a gold medal as the Time is tight
If you die, it won't ruin your chances for gold, but will make it a lot harder
Ps: Unskippable cutscenes are annoying :(

These walkers were by far the scariest/strongest... they almost NEVER missed you, you can see them deal damage not only to you but your allies, in later games the walkers were never as accurate/deadly but here they rip your allies apart and especially you if you let them...
they didn't have storm trooper aim

i was thinking this was shadows of the empire then recognized the terrain was different; it's the best decision of them to include this as a stage to honor shadows which really catapulted the n64 into worthy relevance and set the bar

If I remember, to take out an AT-ST, you should mostly try to shoot the Area between It’s Neck & It’s Head.

Most of the time, I would usually take out all of the Probe Droids & AT-ST’s before going after the AT-AT’s.

No you can't sadly. I also don't know why you play as Luke the entire mission. Luke shouldn't even have been able to use the tow cable due to gunner being shot after that he was shot. Then that's when Wedge took over.

False. This is from Rogue Squadron. There is ALSO a shadows of the empire hoth level.

I bought Rogue Squadron when I got an N64 and then rented Shadows of the Empire later. It was hard to go back to that. Very clunky by comparison.
