I remember cruising past this place on my parents narrowboat. I have been to Kelvedon Hatch quite a few times as it’s not far from where I lived. It’s pretty scary when you think about what these places would have been like if they actually needed to be used under the conditions they were set up for. Great vid !
Hi! Excellent video. Great excursion my new friend. + 241 & 20 & I stay with you. Thank you in advance for your support & warm regards. Stay connected.
Thanks for watch and apologies for the late reply I’ve been away from TH-cam working for a few weeks. Can’t recommend visiting this place enough, tons more to see inside that’s not included in the video 👍
The intro itself is epic!! So cool, you deserve so much more support for your work, it really is outstanding. The equipment in there is incredible to see. This is a great explore, hidden gem for sure, Thanks for sharing with us! :D
I like the anologue setup along with the reel 2 reel tape recorders. :) With the bunker able to withstand a 1 megaton blast, well, the nukes are bigger, faster and stronger these days......
Thanks for watching. This bunker definitely wouldn’t last a minute in todays world. I read that the bunker goes a lot deeper but unfortunately it’s all closed off. Thanks again
Great production! Love the info, soundtracks and use of cameras. This site is so well preserved. (Are we still connected? You fell off of my list of subs)
Thanks very much for the nice comments! I really appreciate it. I’m 100% still subbed to you. I don’t subscribe to many people at all and those that I do is because I like their work and I’ll genuinely watch their videos 👌👍 looking forward to seeing where you end up next
Makes me wonder if this base could become active again if a nuclear war were to happen today? Or is the current equipment pretty much obsolete or can it still work as is, despite the age of the equipment?
I would imagine it could be used again but I think there are much bigger and more advanced bunkers around now. I believe the equipment still works with what was mentioned inside the bunker. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it 👍👍😊
