A free improvisation by Cheryl Pyle - flute, Urbuli Baba - drums, and Max Ridgway - guitar and bass, recorded March 5-7, 2024. Nicolas de Staël was a French painter of Russian origin known for his use of a thick impasto and his highly abstract landscape painting.
