Yeah the stuff you play as a kid is dark.. my mother was always worried of me playing shooters but she should have been worried about my bionicles and lego!

Thank you this tale will test time itself and will be remembered in the hearts of all for generations.
You’ve cured my insomnia. I’ve been playing this video every night and it’s acted as a bedtime story that always knocks me right out. Thank you so much for making this 💕
i fell asleep watching this and at one point got one of those ads that’s just a whole music video, for the song ‘where there’s smoke’ by chase matthew. it’s a stadium country song with a chorus that starts, ‘where there’s smoke, there’s fire, where there’s fire, there’s boys…’ and before i looked at my phone, i was convinced there must’ve been a beautiful emotional arc with the long bois coming back and saving the day somehow, and now an emotional montage/credits sequence was playing to close out the video. i still have to finish watching so that could still happen for all i know
This was an incredible series, taking a fourteen-year-old game and making a whole storyline out of it. You are an incredible and hilarious storyteller. Can't wait for the next chapter.
I can’t believe this man turned the question of can a fruit be sentient into a whole storyline about saving the universe from giant sea snails. The layers of story remind me of when we played with toys as a kid. Years of story. I can even go as far as saying in these 2 hours I felt like I got more content then an actual 3 hour movie. Amazing work
Girls: Omg I can my believe he didn’t cry during Titanic! Do men even have feelings? Men: “As he fell to the ground, Wilfred did not feel sad or unfulfilled, for in his final moments, he had finally become what he always dreamed of being. The Ultimate Whelk Hero.”
Wow this movie was a blast. I even watched it twice because it was so good. A thank to fishfingers, pinchy, barnaby bear, timothy, banakin skywalker, peter ,welfrod, the brown village, and frutius maximus
This is a masterpiece of cinema that will continue to be watched for centuries. Seriously though, this series has been amazing and it has helped me through really hard times and for that I thank you bog boy, you are a legend.
The ending always makes me almost cry. You make a 16 year old game into an emotional roller coaster full of action that has an ACTUAL good story line, unlike many high budget Hollywood movies today. This also brought me back memories of when I first played Spore. Excited to watch the sequel tonight!
Well, I can't say crying over Wilfred the Whelk was in my plans today, but here I am. It's really hard to make a decent story out of 2008 game, but your storytelling skills have me invested. It was it's own entertainment watch you gradually improve in consistency and overall quality of these stories as they progressed, and actually making final chapter into an assembly of all the character any aspiring writer wants to make at some point had me literally shook. Insanely good.
Jesus christ, come on now - 2008 wasn't the fuckin stone ages lol. The seventh console generation had already been out for 2/3 years. It had been almost a decade since Planescape: Torment, commonly held to be the height of video game storytelling. Even if you're talking about games where you "make your own story', Dwarf Fortress had been out for 3 years already, and Aurora 4x had been out for 4 years, just to name a bare ass few. Even if you're talking about _the year 2008 itself,_ what you're saying is _still_ wrong, 2008 was a huge year for gaming; Fallout 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto IV, BioShock, Left 4 Dead, Lost Odyssey, Okami, Persona 4, Mass Effect, Dead Space, Burnout Paradise, Rock Band 2, Fable 2 - 2008 was arguably one of the best years in (console) gaming. One major reason is that more ambitious projects designed for - and with a working knowledge of - 7th gen systems were now bearing fruit. It's the same reason that '97/'98 and '02-'04 were so important. Anyway, people need to dispense with the notion that all games pre-2014 were unplayable jank-fests. Lord knows it's almost the opposite, if anything. All these games I mentioned are just off the top of my head, there are endless examples for each of these, but I think you get the point.
@@Just.Kiddinghe's not saying it's hard because of the game, but because most people don't have that level of creativity and skill. I've Always Loved The Series And Seeing How Fruitius Maximus Went From A Tiny Bacteria Like Creature To The Savior Of The Multiverse Such A Good Story, The Friends He Made Along The Way Also Did A Good Job Hopefully The World Stays In Peace *We Will Miss Wilfred He Was A Great Warrior*
This is a cinematic masterpiece. A life changing watch, it was genius to incorporate all of the champions in one final battle against the whelks led by Fruitius. The small elephant was one of my favorites, wonderful job of story telling and drawing the audience into a tale of a crew protecting the world. Bravo!

Finnal full series I’ve been waiting for over a year I wonder what new stuff he’s now gonna do to attack the welks and I wonder if he’s gonna make a new species to help them fight so many new adventures just waiting I can’t wait till it’s time
Okay why was this like actually amazing!?!? I watched this and enjoyed the game ply, and i was like, oh i like how this is talked about and explained and the funny story telling but by like, the bear story line i was so so invested and I dont wanna say anything that might spoil stuff, but there were a couple twists that really through me and I was actually emmotionally invested and I was so so excited to see how this played out, ik this might be a silly lil game and a videwo about it but I really loved it, I have looked hard for something different to watch than i normally do and I'm very glad that I stumbled over this and ended up choosing it to be what took me out of that loop, it made me laugh and feel both sad and happpy vengeful, angry, and then vindicated and relieved, so sure it's silly and ik it ight be dumb of me to be so invested in this but I really really loved this and think this is an amazing work of art. Thank you.
I had watched the entire movie from start to finish, and I loved it. Spore is one of my childhood games and I loved that someone as talented as you had made a film about it. From funny moments to suspense to emotional moments, it was the ultimate Spore adventure! I'm just wondering though, what was the music you used for this series and movie? I'm a very small youtuber which I am actually doing my own Spore game play series, and I think the music used would be great for my channel. I especially loved the outro music at the end of the film. Anyways, thank you for making this film, you've earned a new subscriber! 😁
I used mostly music from my favourite games and anime, so there is music from hunter x hunter, fullmetal alchemist, steinsgate and then earthbound, animal crossing etc.
This is the greatest movie ever. It's better than other movies except 'Jurassic World Dominion'. That and this is the best, please make more spore content
Why is this the best spore video I have seen on youtube? I am sincerely enjoying this and I'm not even completely done with it. I play spore all the time, and I actually have a method to completely wipe out the Grox that takes less energy and resources than people think. Lol I should be spending my time doing things like this LOL
@@Arcavi0us Terraforming. Get their planet to T1 or use a staff of life. It's cheaper overall than going military and you don't need to be right in the heat of battle. It doesn't break the galactic code in any way. I've been able to destroy 12 systems before I need to heal and recharge. Depends on skill level, max health, flying range and overall energy. You don't need to put plants or animals on any of the planets. As soon as you get the planet to T1 all Grox colonies will perish on the planet. Leave before it turns back to T0 and the planet will stay T1 therefore removing the chance Grox might recolonize. I suggest only taking out the Grox when you are well established in the Galaxy and (optional) make several decoy colonies closer to the Grox to minimize the likelihood on them destroying your home. Might as well set these decoys to colonize the whole system and beef them up pretty good if you want a long term place to recharge and heal. I have a system with pink, blue and purple spice on 5 planets around a blue sun all T3 and full on defenses. Lol it's a bit overkill, but Uber turrets on each planet as well as spice storage, happiness booster, bioprotector and whatnot. It's more defended than my home planet. Bio-disasters, pirates and most of all, Grox attacks shouldn't be too big an issue as you focus on the task at hand. Military force takes a lot of resources. You need lots of AOE repairs, ally ships, Energy packs, upgrades and consumable missiles and/or planet busters. Planet busters break galactic code and may reduce the amount of ally ships you can get. On top of it all, many alien races might automatically dislike you upon meeting you simply because you used one once. The Grox will encourage the use of Big Badda Boom even when used against them.

@@PatataChip_Alt it's too good to be shown in movie theaters, people aren't ready yet, but I agree with you
yall, this whole story shouldn't be making me feel so emotional, oh my god. I loved this so much T_T
Thank you.
Have you heard of elysian eclipse? It’s a pretty promising spiritual successor to spore, and the development is FAST.
Amazing storytelling and editing! Nothing went as I expected
That and this is the best, please make more spore content
this would be a great series if it was officially adapted into an anime or a cartoon
spore: evolution, the animated series.
This was the most enjoyable TH-cam video ever i seen in i long time in i real maen that man i really love the video
Disturbing Fact: Pearkind became more technologically advanced than Humanity
I never thought about that
Watching this at 3am feels likes a Fever dream
This is a masterpiece this is the most good spore movie i ever seen in my entire life amazing story telling and your a amazing youtuber
Why is this the best spore video I have seen on youtube? I am sincerely enjoying this and I'm not even completely done with it. I play spore all the time, and I actually have a method to completely wipe out the Grox that takes less energy and resources than people think. Lol I should be spending my time doing things like this LOL
hey uh help a brother out, what is your method for wiping out the grox?
@YoshitoMakravi i have zero fucking idea what u just said
"vit-a-men" still makes me laugh
I only like and subscribe to channels that *really* deserve it, you got a new subscriber, BogBoy.
Best movie in youtube ever
11/10 so beautiful, made me sob many times, amazing
dude its too bad you wont be making any more Spore videos! i just found your channel a few days ago and your content is hilarious. i like that you have variety content but i hope you continue making more gaming videos, with or without stories. im an artist too so i do watch your art videos, but please dont drop this style of content /forever/, even if you arent going to play Spore specifically. again i support and watch your variety content but your gaming videos are too funny
I will still do spore on the odd occasion in future dw :)
Now this movie, is the kind of stuff Hollywood should strive to be, A FLIPPING GOOD MOVIE
