I played Pulsar at Gen Con 2022... Pretty solid game. I did buy my copy of Galaxy Trucker: Keep on Trucking, which was my first item I was looking for. This year was my second Gen Con, since I was there in 2021. I'm also glad you got to see the Lucas Oil Dome as well, which is amazing to see, especially with all the gaming going on there. Hoping to see you all there at Gen Con 2023. Here is to 55 years of Gen Con and great gaming... and hopefully many more to follow.
I can beat anyone at Warhammer 40k and I can beat anyone at Warhammer Fantasy. I have the first prints of the first editions of both games. If you're thinking about breaking in my place to steal them, beware I own a snub-nosed, matte-black, magnum hand-cannon.
Somehow, someday, I'm gonna see you in person, Eleni! Couldn't make it to GenCon, because I already had reservations for another convention focusing on another hobby of mine -- the popular fiction magazines of the first half of the 20th century. They were known as "pulp magazines" because they were printed on the cheapest, wood-pulp paper available, intended to be read and discarded. Nevertheless, many have survived, and many American writers of the last century got their starts in the pulps -- including H. P. Lovecraft, Ray Bradbury, Louis L'Amour, Tennessee Williams, and two of my favorites, Dashiell Hammett [author of The Maltese Falcon, etc.], and Raymond Chandler [whose most well-known character was the quintessential American private detective, Philip Marlowe]. I had a great time, but, if I hadn't already registered for PulpFest [and had I known sooner that you were going to GenCon], I'd have been in Indianapolis instead. Hope you had a wonderful experience, Eleni!
I think the word ''Highlights'' should be removed from the title a replaced with ''random incoherent images showing nothing of interest'', over 4 mins of the video is just people walking or waiting in line.
