Spencer, if you’re watching, please let Mr Doyle upload the video. Share it with the world! Mr D, hope you’re doing well and thrilled you got to enjoy the film. Sounds like it was fantastic. Enjoy Evil Dead Rise!!! And I loved the Wastelands. Next to Wizard and Glass, might be the best Dark Tower books. Speaking of which, did you ever read the tie in children’s book about Blaine that keeps coming up in the books? Have a groovy week.
Night Shift turned out to be one of King´s most film prolific short tales collection I think. I would love "I am the doorway" but is not film friendly and if you do it the budget would be high to make it right. Weird and one of the best short stories of Stewie.
The Easter Egg of King's Bar reminds me of the recent first hard-copy of The Long Walk by Centipede Press. The cover sleeve features the inside of a diner as the walkers pass. The Easter Egg you won't notice at first is that the window has the name of the name of the diner painted on it called King's Diner. You won't notice because you're seeing the letters backwards from the inside.
I was in no rush or even expecting you to send me the tapes back, but I appreciate it nonetheless! Looking forward to the next video, the wastelands was one of my favorites. Also, need to kick my reading back into high gear, your videos are about to catch up to where I'm at on my chronological reading! Keep up the great work
I'm sending over the outline for an 11 Episode Limited Series for Salem's Lot. It's not a screenplay, it's just an amalgam/hybrid of the Novel, the '79 & '04 Mini-Series, the BBC Radio Drama, AND the Short-Story "One For The Road" from Stephen King's Night Shift Collection. We You have a little free time... let me know if You liked it... OR did NOT like it 😀 Thank You 😀
Difficult to get excited about a full length adaptation of a short story. It will have practically nothing in common with the story except the King name drop and the title. Hollywood money grab at its finest. I would love a dollar baby film festival for Halloween. Ticket sales to a local charity. All the good bad and ugly of the DB films
I just saw The Boogeyman and I gotta say it’s not great. There was a lot of potential with this movie, but they kinda just ignored what they could’ve done better and just made a really mid movie. The cast was good and I hope David Dasmalchian gets another Stephen King movie.
I listened to a couple reviews and they both said that same thing. That it’s a perfectly serviceable horror movie, but that it’s been done a million times before. Nothing terrible, but nothing special. And that was exactly what I was expecting.
hey, it's not Saturday. a special gift to kill the Monday night blues.
thanks Mr. Doyle!
Thanks for another GREAT Video 😀

Would you believe that I STILL haven’t been able to watch Evil Dead Rise? 😭😂
The Boogeyman really didn’t need a Hollywood movie. It was best as a dollar baby short.

Whoa. This comment is 9 days old?! I’ve been slacking. Did you get your tapes?!
