This video features a SIE C651, 201/202, which is from UPD to serve NSL for the whole day, from NS7 Kranji to NS9 Woodlands.
201/202 would first return back into UPD when it was selected from TWD to do Run 343 on 13/5/2024. Run 343 is scheduled to return the train into UPD after PM Peak.
201/202 would also alternate with 237/238, another LVDT/RV SIE, on NSL. Since 237/238 was on NSL recently before being kicked out to EWL a few days ago via the UPD Input Slots. The typical way of OCC switching the LVDT/RV SIEs around on both lines, with 201/202 entering NSL and 237/238 doing its run on EWL instead.
Initially supposed to run on NSL for the entire day together with 011/012 (on Run 407), but both of them failed and went back into BSD. For 201/202, it got replaced by a KSFB in the late morning hours and went into BSD, probably for maintenance works straightaway.
But still a good thing to have at least 1 SIE run on NSL, even the common SIEs since the SIEs population are low (currently 4 active SIEs with 233/234 currently MIA)
Welcome back onto the tracks of NSL after spending roughly 3 weeks on EWL. Loud Motor can be heard on car 2202 A1/B1.

Hi everyone, apologies about the description being blank for a couple of minutes after the video was released.
Interestingly the description disappeared even though I wrote the description before scheduling the video for its upload. Strange end on TH-cam. Probably a new bug that surfaced since the 011/012 video isn't affected.
But the description is now back for all to see!
